FSU Names Hannah Bazemore Senior Deputy Athletics Director

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State University Vice President and Director of Athletics Michael Alford announced today the hiring of Hannah Bazemore as Senior Deputy Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator, adding an experienced Division I athletics director to the Seminoles' executive leadership team.
Bazemore comes to Florida State after serving as Director of Athletics at Campbell University, where she provided leadership and oversight for the university's intercollegiate athletics program and helped guide Campbell through a period of significant growth and change in college athletics.
"Hannah is an outstanding administrator and a proven leader who will make our department stronger," Alford said. "She understands every part of an athletics operation and has the perspective that comes from leading a Division I department. Just as important, she is a person of high character who builds strong relationships and understands how to bring people together around a common purpose. Hannah is a talented, experienced leader who will positively impact our entire operation. I'm excited to have her join our leadership team."
In her role at Florida State, Bazemore will serve as a member of Alford's senior executive team and provide leadership across several areas of the athletics department, including sport administration, departmental operations, and strategic initiatives while also serving in the SWA role.

Bazemore will serve a crucial role in advancing the department's strategic and operational priorities as the Seminoles continue to position the department for success in the rapidly evolving landscape of college athletics.
With more than two decades in college athletics administration, Bazemore has served as Campbell's Director of Athletics since 2022. Prior to becoming AD, she held several senior leadership positions at Campbell, developing extensive experience in internal operations, financial management, sport oversight, and administration.
Her tenure as athletics director included Campbell's transition into the Coastal Athletic Association and continued investment in the student-athlete experience, facilities, and the overall competitiveness of the Fighting Camels' athletics programs.
