Four Noles Named to Senior Bowl Top 300

TALLAHASSEE – Four Seminoles – wide receiver Duce Robinson, cornerback Ja'Bril Rawls, offensive lineman Xavier Chaplin and defensive lineman Daniel Lyons – are on the Senior Bowl Top 300 list, released Thursday.
Held in Mobile, Alabama, for more than seven decades, the Panini Senior Bowl is the "premier college football all-star game and the official first step in the NFL Draft process." The 2027 game will take place at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile on January 30, 2027.
Robinson, a senior from Phoenix, is on the preseason watch lists for the Biletnikoff, Walter Camp Player of the Year and Maxwell Awards as well as the Wuerffel Trophy. Robinson was a first-team All-ACC wide receiver and third-team All-American in 2025, catching 56 passes for 1,081 yards and six touchdowns. He was twice named ACC Receiver of the Week and was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award.
Rawls, a senior from Pensacola, contributed 40 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, two pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery in seven games last season. At Virginia, he set a career-high with 11 tackles and added a tackle for loss and one interception, becoming the first Seminole since 2005 with that stat line. Against Pitt, Rawls registered 10 tackles – all solo – with another tackle for loss, the first Nole since 2022 with at least 10 solo tackles in a game.
For his career, Rawls has 58 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery.
Chaplin, a 5th-year from Beaufort, South Carolina, is in his first season at Florida State after spending four seasons at Virginia Tech and Auburn. The offensive tackle has started 37 consecutive games, including all 12 at left tackle for the Tigers in 2025. He played 26 games with 25 starts for the Hokies, earning honorable mention All-ACC honors in 2024. He was a third-team All-American in 2023 after starting 13 games and allowing just five sacks on 813 snaps.
Lyons, a 5th-year from Miami, has 71 tackles in 42 career games, with 8.5 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks. In 2025, Lyons started all 12 games for the Seminoles at defensive tackle, setting a career-high with 26 tackles and adding 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks. In 2024, Lyons had 25 tackles with 5.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks.
The Seminoles will open the 2026 season August 29 at 7:00 p.m. against New Mexico State inside Doak Campbell Stadium.
