Robinson on Maxwell Award Watch List

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State senior wide receiver Duce Robinson was named to the Maxwell Award watch list Monday. Last month, Robinson was named to the All-ACC Preseason Team and is a nominee for the Good Works Team.
The Maxwell Award is given annually to the outstanding player in college football and has been presented since 1937. The 2026 winner will be announced as part of the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show on December 10.
A first-team All-ACC selection and Biletnikoff Award semifinalist in 2025, Robinson caught 56 passes for 1,081 yards and six touchdowns last season. He became Florida State's first 1,000-yard receiver since 2019 and produced the 14th 1,000-yard season in program history.
Robinson, from Phoenix, ranked ninth nationally after the regular season in receiving yards, and his five 120-yard games were the most among P4 receivers, second nationally and the most at FSU since 2014. Robinson averaged 19.30 yards per reception, second in the ACC behind only teammate Micahi Danzy.
A two-time ACC Receiver of the Week, Robinson averaged 102.8 receiving yards over eight ACC games in 2025, best in the league and 12 yards better than the next-best receiver. In the regular season, Robinson led the conference with 17 20-yard catches, 12 30-yard receptions and six 40-yard grabs.
Academically, Robinson became Florida State's first first-team Academic All-American since 2012 and just the ninth in program history.
Florida State will open the 2026 season on August 29 at 7:00 p.m. against New Mexico State.
