Florida State Announces Non-Conference Schedule

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State Men's Basketball head coach Luke Loucks announced Thursday the Seminoles' non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season, a challenging 14-game slate that features four Power Four opponents and nine home games inside the Donald L. Tucker Center.

"We're really excited about this non-conference schedule and the opportunity it provides our team," said Loucks. "Our goal was to put together a schedule that challenges us early and prepares us for the level of competition we'll face in ACC play. The best way to get better is to compete against high-level opponents, and these games will test us, expose areas where we need to improve, and help us grow as a team. We're looking forward to the challenge and believe this schedule will put us in the best position possible when conference play begins."

The Seminoles open the 2026-27 campaign on Monday, Nov. 2, against Florida A&M at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Fla., as part of the Orion180 Tip-Off Classic. Florida State then begins a six-game home stretch starting with its home opener on Friday, Nov. 6, against Troy.

Florida State's home slate continues with a matchup against in-state rival Florida on Tuesday, Nov. 10, before the Seminoles welcome Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Nov. 13), Ball State (Nov. 17), Green Bay (Nov. 20), and UNC Asheville (Nov. 24) to Tallahassee.

The Seminoles will continue their non-conference schedule on Sunday, Nov. 29, with opponent and location to be determined before traveling to Knoxville for a road matchup against Tennessee on Tuesday, Dec. 1, as part of the fourth annual SEC/ACC Challenge.

Florida State returns home to host Dayton on Saturday, Dec. 5, before competing against Texas A&M on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Following a home contest against Jacksonville on Wednesday, Dec. 16, the Seminoles will travel to Jacksonville, Fla. to face Houston on Sunday, Dec. 20.

"Our team and staff are also looking forward to the opportunity to take our program to different markets throughout the state of Florida this season," said Loucks. "Florida State basketball is bigger than just Tallahassee, our brand reaches across the entire country, and we want to continue building those connections with Seminole fans everywhere. Playing neutral-site games in places like Tampa and Jacksonville gives us a chance to compete in new environments while engaging with our incredible fan base. We're looking forward to bringing Florida State basketball to our fans around the state and creating more opportunities for them to be a part of our program."

FSU then closes out its non-conference schedule at home versus Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

Prior to the start of the regular season, FSU will play three exhibition games starting on Oct. 10 against Mississippi State in Pensacola, Fla.. The Seminoles will then face Auburn on Oct. 14 in the 2026 Ballin in Boutwell preseason event at Boutwell Auditorium in Birmingham, Ala. The final tuneup will take place on Oct. 24 versus LSU inside the Tucker Center.

The complete ACC schedule will be announced at a later date.

Season tickets are now on sale, providing fans a guaranteed seat location for every home game in the 2026-27 season starting at $150. Current season ticket holders have until August 20 to renew their existing seat locations. Following the renewal deadline, remaining seat locations and upgrade opportunities will be offered based on priority. Single-game tickets for home games will be available in October.
