Seminoles’ Matchup at Tennessee Set for 7 p.m. on ESPN2

Florida State will take part in the fourth annual SEC/ACC Challenge on Dec. 1
TALLAHASSEE – Florida State men's basketball's matchup at Tennessee as part of the fourth annual SEC/ACC Men's Basketball Challenge will tip at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Dec. 1, ESPN announced Monday.
The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2 and played inside Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. In ESPN's Way-Too-Early Men's Basketball Top 25, Tennessee is ranked No. 6.
The Seminoles and Volunteers will meet as part of a three-day showcase featuring many of the nation's premier programs in non-conference matchups between the SEC and ACC. The men's portion of the challenge is scheduled for Dec. 1-2, with games airing across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network and ACC Network and streaming on the ESPN App.
Florida State trails in the all-time series against Tennessee, 4-5, but has won three of the last four meetings. The Seminoles' most recent matchup against the Volunteers came in 2019, when Florida State earned a 60-57 victory in the Emerald Coast Classic in Destin, Florida.
Florida State's last trip to Knoxville came in 1987.
