SEVERAL SEMINOLES WILL BE MAKING THEIR OUTDOOR DEBUTS AT TOM JONES MEMORIAL IN GAINESVILLE

Florida State’s men’s and women’s track and field teams return to Gainesville, Fla. for the Tom Jones Memorial with competition beginning Friday and wrapping up on Saturday.

The Seminoles were off this past weekend after competing at the Pepsi Relays two weeks ago on the same track at the University of Florida.

FSU’s teams will be close to full strength for the competition with a several student-athletes competing outdoors for the first time this spring.  Among those making their first appearance will be 2023 ACC Indoor Field Performer and All-American Jeremiah Davis who will compete in both the long and triple jump.  Women’s freshman sensation Dajaz DeFrand will also be competing in outdoor sprint events for the first time this season.
