I chose to wear No. 4 at Florida State to give myself a fresh start at my new school. I have worn either two or three my whole life, and even if they had been available, I would have asked to wear a new number in my first season at Florida State.
The No. 4 has been worn by 12 different Seminoles including NBA Draft picks Dwayne Bacon (2016-17), Patrick Williams (2019-20) and Scottie Barnes (2020-21). Bacon was a second-round pick of the New Orleans Pelicans in 2017; Williams was a first-round pick of the Bulls in 2020) and Barnes was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. Bacon signed with the New York Knicks in 2021.
My full name is Caleb Demond Mills. Caleb is a named my mom liked and Demond is my father’s first name.
My hometown of Arden, N.C. is a nice area with really nice scenery throughout the town. It has a nice pace to it and it’s a town that I have really enjoyed growing up in.
