Produced one of the most remarkable freshman seasons in women’s college basketball history...established the ACC’s single-season freshman scoring record with 659 total points...recorded seven of the ACC’s 14 30-point games in 2022-23, setting an FSU single-season record with her seven 30-point games...led all freshmen in scoring with 21.3 points per game – the next closest freshman had 17.9 points...scored in double figures in 29 of her 31 games played...led the ACC through the regular season with 18 20-point games...owned an incredible 14-game streak of scoring 20 or more points – the second-longest streak by a freshman in NCAA Men’s or Women’s Basketball and the longest since Trae Young (18 games)...became the first ACC freshman ever to lead the league in scoring...tied for 11th nationally in points per game and free throws made (171)...finished in the Top 10 in the ACC in scoring (1st), field goal percentage (8th) and free throw percentage (2nd)...remarkable efficiency for a high-volume scorer: 45.5 percent shooting, 36.2 percent from 3-point range, 2.9 assists per game, 1.1 assist/turnover ratio, 85.9 percent from the free throw line and 1.7 steals per game...set the single-season ACC freshman scoring record vs. Wake Forest, adding 15 points...scored 31 points vs. Georgia Tech...had 19 points and three assists vs. Syracuse...led FSU with 19 points against Wake Forest...had 15 points against No. 16 Duke...scored 19 points with five rebounds and four assists vs. Pitt...became fastest Seminole to 500 points, scoring 15 at Virginia....secured single-season record sixth 30-point game vs. No. 11 NC State, scoring 31 points on 13-of-16 shooting...achieved fifth 30-point game with 31 points (15-15 FTs) vs. Clemson...fourth 30-point game of the season, dropping 32 at Georgia Tech...recorded 21 points, six assists and six boards in a win at No. 13 UNC...had 21 points and six assists in win over Miami...totaled 24 points vs. No. 9 UConn...had 25 points and eight steals in a win over Presbyterian...tied her career high with 34 points vs. Texas Southern, her third 30-point game of the season...recorded her ninth 20-point game in 10 games played, scoring 24 points (7-of-12) and hitting 9-of-11 from the line in a 35-point win over Stetson...clutch performance at Wisconsin, scoring 10 of her 27 points in the fourth quarter in a 92-87 road win; Recorded 10 field goals for the fifth time already in a season...delivered her fifth straight 20-point performance with 20 points against Harvard at the Cancun Challenge...went 10-of-17 from the floor and scored 21 points in a close 76-75 win over Purdue in Cancun...dropped 20 points and led FSU with eight rebounds in first game of the Cancun Challenge vs. Oklahoma State...led the Noles with 21 points at Houston...totaled her second 30-point performance in her first four games, notching 32 points with five rebounds and four assists in a 92-77 rivalry win over Florida; Through just her first four games played, she already became the 10th Seminole with multiple 30-point games in a season...had 19 points with five rebounds vs. Georgia State...dropped 34 points in road win at Kent State; the most points by an FSU freshman since Sue Galkantas in 1981...had 28 points on 10-of-22 shooting with nine rebounds, two blocks and two steals in season opener vs. Bethune-Cookman; it was the first time a freshman led FSU in scoring in a season opener since Natasha Howard in 2010.

The nation’s top-ranked shooting guard in the 2022 signing class...ranked 14th overall according to ESPN Hoopgurlz...2022 Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Basketball...2022 Florida Class 5A Player of the Year...second consecutive Seminole to win the Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Basketball award, joining O’Mariah Gordon from 2021...she inked her National Letter of Intent for the Seminoles on Nov. 17, 2021...averaged 27.2 points, 7.0 assists, 8.0 rebounds, 5.3 steals and 2.0 blocks per game as a senior at American Heritage High School...the 12th Seminole to compete in the McDonald’s All-American Game, scoring 15 points with three rebounds and a blocked shot in 13 minutes...2022 Naismith High School Girls Player of the Year Watch List...in her junior season, Latson led Westlake High School to a national title and averaged 23.7 points, 2.8 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks while shooting 62 percent from the floor...Maxpreps All-American and being selected to the Atlanta Journal Constitution Class 6A First Team as a junior...one of 25 selections to the 2022 Jersey Mike’s Naismith High School Girls Midseason Team...averaged 16.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.7 steals and 20.6 minutes played per game as a sophomore at Westlake...chose Florida State over several other schools, including Baylor, Georgia, Kentucky, Miami, NC State, Texas and Virginia Tech.
