SPRING 2025

Singles:

  • Rihane overcame player Enrique Pena from the University of Louisville at home with scores of 6-2, 7-6 on April 5, 2025
  • Rihane defeated player Kyran Magimay from the University of Notre Dame at home with scores of 7-5, 6-0 on April 3 2025
  • Rihane defeated player Nicholas Mangiapane from UNC Chapel Hill with a road victory with scores of 6-2, 6-3 on March 30, 2025
  • Rihane conquered player Gerard Planellas Ripoll from Duke University with a road victory with scores of 7-6, 6-2 on March 28, 2025
  • On February 8, 2025, Rihane fought through a tough match to defeat Zach Foster from #18 Alabama, coming back after losing the first set to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
  • Earlier in the season, on January 16, 2025, Rihane defeated Aryan Singh from Georgia State with a commanding 6-3, 6-2 scoreline, showing strong form and consistency.

  • On January 11, 2025, Rihane secured a comfortable win against Lun Obril from Alabama State, with a score of 6-2, 4-2, demonstrating his ability to handle pressure in straightforward matches.

  • The following day, on January 12, 2025, Rihane continued his strong performance, defeating Pol Del Castillo from Georgia Southern 7-5, 3-0, with the match ending early due to an injury.

Doubles:

  • Bulte and Rihane defeated players Noa Vukadin and Maxwell Smith from Clemson University with a score of 7-5 on March 21, 2025.

  • Bulte and Rihane defeated players Liam Krall and Jordi Redelijk with a score of 6-1 on March 2, 2025 

  • On January 24, 2025, they defeated Bruno Vietri and Gianluca Filoramo from North Florida with a dominant 6-1 scoreline, showcasing their excellent coordination.

  • Earlier, on January 16, 2025, Bulte and Rihane overcame Hugo Nossler and Diego Riviere from Georgia State with a solid 6-3 win, demonstrating their tactical advantage.

  • On January 12, 2025, they continued their winning ways, defeating Pol Del Castillo and Dimitris Paliouras from Georgia Southern 6-1, showing their dominance on the court.

  • In another strong performance on January 11, 2025, Bulte and Rihane triumphed over Alexander Verlaguet and Matis Amier from Alabama State, securing a 6-3 victory.

  • On the same day, they also defeated Gugliermo Stefanacci and Jonothan Baron from FGCU, winning 6-2, further solidifying their strong doubles partnership.


FALL 2024:


Singles: #17 Singles Player in the Southeast Region

  • Claimed 16 singles wins 
  • Controlled his 6-3, 6-3 match win over UCF's Paul Colin in the NCAA Second Round (5/4).
  • Defeated NC State's #63 Fons Von Sambeek a second time this month at the ACC Quarterfinals (4/19).
  • Closed out the regular season with a three-set road win over Miami's Adrian Burdet (4/13).
  • Notched his first ranked win of the season over #20 NC State's #66 Fons Van Sambeek after defeating #6 Wake Forest's Matthew Thompson (4/5, 4/7).
  • Displayed a dominant road weekend over Georgia Tech's Marcus McDaniel and Clemson's Noa Vukadin (3/28, 3/30).
  • Blanked Virginia Tech's Michael Shepheard in the second set to secure a 6-4, 6-0 win (3/22).
  • Defeated Marist's Jose Catala in Orlando 6-1, 6-2 (3/10).
  • Won 24 of 28 games played over the weekend against Georgia State's Edward Tymes and South Alabama's Rostislav Halfinger (2/23, 2/25).
  • Earned his first conference win of the season over Boston College's Jake Vessel on the road (2/14).
  • Pulled out a straight-set victory over Arizona State's Max McKennon during the ITA Kickoff Weekend (1/27).
  • Notched his first road win of the season over Alabama's Zach Foster 6-1, 6-4 (1/21).
  • Dominated his first matches of the season over Mercer's Samuel Macleod and Jacksonville State's Xavier Sarda Marti (1/13).
Doubles: #72 Doubles Team in the Nation (Pourroy), #9 Doubles Team in Southeast Region (Pourroy)
  • Achieved a team-leading 21 wins in the spring with six ACC wins and three ranked wins.
  • Completed a strong 7-5 win at #7 Tennessee's ranked Court 2 pairing in the NCAA Third Round (5/11).
  • Pushed through the NCAA Second Round match with UCF to secure a win (5/4).
  • Handled business in the NCAA First Round win over North Florida (5/3).
  • Defeated Wake Forest's Court 2 pairing at second time this season in the ACC Semifinals (4/20).
  • Performed well with a 6-2 win over NC State on Court 2 in the ACC Quarterfinals (4/19).
  • Defeated Virginia Tech's Court 2 pairing a second time this season in the ACC Second Round (4/18).
  • Finished the regular season with a ranked win at Miami (4/13).
  • Notched his fifth ACC win of the season against #6 Wake Forest (4/5).
  • Sealed a 7-5 Court 2 victory at Clemson (3/30).
  • Fought hard for a 6-4 win over North Carolina (3/15).
  • Completed victories over Illinois State and Marist on Court 2 (3/10).
  • Secured a 6-2 win over Louisville on the road (3/1).
  • Handled the Georgia State and South Alabama opponents with 6-2 scorelines in each match (2/23, 2/25).
  • Earned the first conference win of the season at Boston College (2/14).
  • Notched a win over Oklahoma's pairing on Court 2 in the home outdoor opener (2/11).
  • Knocked off Florida's ranked pairing to seal the doubles point in Orlando (2/3).
  • Secured a strong 6-2 win at #12 Mississippi State during the ITA Kickoff Weekend with Loris Pourroy (1/28).
  • Won an epic doubles-point tiebreaker at Alabama with Loris Pourroy (1/21).
  • Began the season with a 6-3 win over Jacksonville State on Court 2 with Loris Pourroy (1/13).

FALL 2023

  • In his first action of the fall No. 55 Youcef Rihane teamed up with Lorris Pourroy to defeat USC's Marek and Samuel Rubell 8-7 (3) at the Longhorn Invitational
  • Teamed up with Loris Pourroy at M15 Tallahassee in an upset victory over Erik Grevelius and Finn Murgett in the doubles round of 16

SPRING 2023

  • Defeated Guillaume Tattevin of Hawaii (7-5, 6-2) to gain a victory while playing on court No. 3 in his first match of the spring season
  • Helped the Seminoles open the season with a dominating 7-0 team victory over Hawaii
  • Won his second consecutive match with a victory over Carl Emil Overbeck (6-1, 6-4) of Cal as he played in court No. 4 in the Seminoles 5-2 win over the Golden Bears
  • Gained a win over No. 106 ranked Trent Bryde of Georgia (2-6, 6-4, 6-4) to help lift the No. 16 Seminoles to a 5-2 win over the No. 7 ranked Bulldogs
  • Earned a victory over Florida Atlantic’s Joao Garcia (7-5, 6-2) in the Seminoles’ 6-1 victory over the Owls on Florida State’s Home court
  • Gained a victory on court No. 4 over Sacchitt Sharrma of San Diego (6-2, 6-4) at the ITA Kickoff Weekend at the Hurd Tennis Center at Baylor University
  • Defeated No. 115 Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi of Baylor on court No 4 (6-3, 6-4)
  • Defeated Maxime St-Hilare of South Alabama (6-1, 6-2) in singles on court No. 3 in Florida State’s 5-2 win over the Jaguars at the Florida State Indoor Tennis Facility
  • Earned his seventh singles win of the season on court No. 4 with a win over Ewan Lumsden of Mississippi State (6-4, 7-6 (6))
  • Defeated Virginia Tech’s Manuel Goncalves (6-3, 3-6, 6-5) on court No. 3 in leading the Seminoles to a 5-3 win over the Hokies on the road in ACC play
  • Defeated No. 117 Jurabek Karimov of Wake Forest (7-5, 7-5) on court No. 3 in Florida State’s 4-2 victory over No. 14 Wake Forest at the Wake Forest Tennis Center
  • Defeated Jean-Marc Malkowski in straight sets 7-5, 6-0 to help Florida State sweep Notre Dame 7-0
  • Earned a three-set victory against Andrew Zhang of Duke 6-7 (11), 6-2, 6-3 (April 16)
  • In the first round of ACC Championships defeated Spencer Whitaker in straight sets 6-2, 6-0 to help the Seminoles earn the 4-0 victory and a berth to the ACC quarterfinals
  • Clinched the upset victory over No. 14 UNC after defeating Will Jansen 1-6, 6-3, 6-3, propelling FSU to the ACC semifinals
  • In the first round of the NCAA Tournament beat Marko Miladinovic 6-2, 7-5 to help Florida State advance to the Round of 32


SPRING 2022

  • The ACC Doubles Team of the Week with Alex Bulte for an undefeated weekend versus No. 8 Virginia and Virginia Tech, including a 6-0 sweep of the Cavaliers’ duo
  • Finished tied for the team lead in singles wins with a 15-8 record
  • Started the season 4-0 in singles
  • Earned a win on court No 5 over No. 18 Mississippi State’s Gregor Ramskogler
  • Won three straight ACC matches in singles against ranked teams with victories over No. 40 Duke, No. 31 North Carolina and No. 23 Notre Dame
  • Claimed three more ranked ACC singles wins to close out the regular season including a victory over Bar Botzer from No. 8 Virginia
  • Clinched the doubles point for Florida State with Bulte in the NCAA First Round match against No. 59 Georgia State

FALL 2021

  • Finished 4-1 in singles
  • Advanced to the semifinals of the Bedford Cup until having to retire due to injury after winning the first set
  • Competed in the ITA Southeast Regional Championship

YOUTH:

  • Ranked the No. 4 junior men’s tennis player in Africa and No. 51 in the junior world ITF ranking.
  • He holds a UTR of 13.4 and has a career-high ATP singles ranking of 1851.
  • Rihane has spent the last two years as a member of the Algeria Davis Cup Team.  The Davis Cup is the premier international team event in men’s tennis and is contested annually.
  • He has competed in many other high-level championships including, Wimbledon, French Open, Juniors US Open, and the African Junior Championships.
