Outdoor: Won first in the 200m (20.79) at the Bob Hayes Spring Break Invitational...Won first in the 4x100m (39.06) and placed ninth in the 100m (10.57) at the Crimson Tide Invitational...Placed 33rd in the 100m (10.59) and 38th in the 200m (21.21) at the Tom Jones Invitational...Placed sixth at the LSU Invitational (10.14)...Won first placed in the 100m (10.25) and the 4x100m (39.49), and placed fifth in the 200m (20.85) at the ACC Outdoor Championships...Placed 17th in the 100m (10.43) and 18th in the 200m (20.75) at the NCAA East First Round.Indoor: Opened season at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational in the 60 with a time of 6.84 placing sixth... Finished in first place in the 60 (6.62) at the Lenny Lyles Invite..contributed to the 4x400 relay placing ninth with a time of 3:17.97 at the Lenny Lyles Invitational...Placed 22nd in the 60 (8.40) and 47th in the 200 (21.79) at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational...placed fifth in the 60 (6.72) at the ACC Championship.
Junior Season (2023)
Outdoor:
- June 7-10 – NCAA Finals – Earned second team All-America honors with a 14th place finish in the 200 meters in a career best 20.76, first ream All-American as a member of FSU’s fourth place 4×100 relay team
- May 24-27 – NCAA East First Round – Qualified for NCAA Finals in the 200m with a 12th place finish in 20.40
- May 11-13 – ACC Outdoor Championship – Finished third in the 100 meters with a time of 10.15, sixth in the 200 meters in 21.06, and second in the 4x100m (38.74)
- April 28-29 – Texas Invitational (Austin) – Ran third fastest 100 meter in the nation in winning the 100 meters with a time of 9.98. Took second place in the 200 meters with a time of 20.37. Won first in the 4x100m (38.88).
- April 22 – LSU Alumni Gold – Claimed 8th in the 200 meters at 20.76
- April 14-15 — Tom Jones Invite (Gainesville, FL) – Placed 6th in the 100 meters with a time of 10.12
- March 23-24 — FSU Relays – Timed at 21.28 in the 200 meters finishing 23rd
Indoor:
Placed fifth in the 60m dash (6.58) at the NCAA Indoor Championship…Won the 60m dash (6.57) at the ACC Indoor Championship…Finished first in the 60m dash (6.61) at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational…Topped the timing sheets with a first place finish in the 200m (21.21) at the Vanderbilt Invitational…Kone earned an ACC Performer of the Week award for his showing at the Clemson Invitational…he finished first in the 60 meter dash (6.51), school record best, tied with the ACC best and the world-leading time.
NEW ORLEANS (2021-22)
Placed second in 60m and 200m at Southland Conference Indoor Championships…swept 100m, 200m, and 4x100m titles at Southland Conference Outdoor Championships…qualified for NCAA D-1 Outdoor Championships in 100m and 200m.
TEXAS-ARLINGTON (2020)
Swept the 60m and 200m dash titles at the Sun Belt Conference Championships…Was the only male to win multiple individual events at the SBC indoor meet…Ran a 6.74 to win the 60m and followed it up with a 21.03 in the 200m…Both were personal best times and the 21.03 tied for the third-fastest time in school history…Competed in four meets on the year, seeing action in the 60m, 200m 4x400m relay and long jump…Outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
