Senior Spring Year:

Had a strong spring with a 17-9 record in singles and a 16-8 record in doubles…started season with nine straight wins…went 8-3 on court four and 6-2 on court five…main doubles partner was Jordan Kelly- Houston where they finished with a 16-7 record together… best match that they won as partners was against No. 56 Guillermo Alcorta and Axel Alvarez Llamas of Oklahoma.


Had a 6-4 doubles record and a 4-6 singles record in the fall…reached the qualifying round of All-Americans after winning two matches in Pre-Qualifying…reached the quarterfinals of the doubles draw at the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships with Jordan Kelly-Houston.

Junior Spring Year:

Started the season with a nine match winning streak…ended the year with a 9-3 singles mark…clinched the first match of the year with a win against North Florida and again later in the season against Miami…started the season with a 12-3 mark in doubles to end the year with a 15-13 record…nabbed a ranked doubles with partner Dominic Cotrone against No. 53 Maden and Rigsby of Clemson


Posted a 7-3 singles record…reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Southeast Regionals where he defeated No. 104 Wael Kilani of USF in the round of 16Second on the team with a 9-4 record in singles play this fall…reached the finals at the Thomasville Collegiate Invitational and the semifinals of the Seminole Intercollegiate…posted two wins in the ITA Southeast Regionals consolation bracket…had a 20% improvement from last fall when he posted a 5-5 record…teamed up with Dominic Cotrone for the entire fall where they posted a 7-2 record…took the doubles title at the Seminole Invitational after defeating teammates Andres Bucaro and Blake Davis. losing to him earlier in the year…reached the semifinals in the A Draw at the State of Florida Championships…posted a 3-3 singles record while going 3-2 when teamed up with Blake Davis.

Sophomore Spring Year:

Went on a 6-2 streak at the beginning of the season…played most of the season on court five and six…Clinched Florida State’s matches against Florida Atlantic and Furman…currently has an 18-14 doubles rankings with Andres Bucaro and Blake Davis…started the spring season with a 7-3 doubles record with Bucaro…duo defeated the No. 43 and 52 doubles teams in the nation…Bucaro and Reed spent most of the season on courts two and three.


Posted a 3-1 record at the Cliff’s Invitational… went 5-2 in doubles play with partners Blake Davis (3-1) and Andres Bucaro (2-1)…teamed up with Bucaro to defeat a tough Georgia Tech duo of Gomez and O’Brien 9-8 (6) at the ITA Regional Championships.

Freshman Fall Year:

Played well in the fall with five singles wins and five doubles victories…defeated Dan Cash of Florida at the Seminole Invitational 4-6, 6-2, 10-8…won two doubles matched with fellow freshman Aaron May at the Wilson/ITA Southeast Regional Championship.


Won nine games during the spring in singles…went 13-11 in spring doubles with Andres Bucaro and Kelly-Houston…won one singles and doubles match in the NCAA tournament.

High School

Ranked No. 1 in Alabama and No. 1 in the south… named an All-American in 2009… State singles title in 2007 and ’08… State team championship in 2009, as well as state doubles title with partner Alexander Dyas…was ranked as high as No. 6 in the nation in singles and No. 3 in doubles…won the Southern Section Boys 18s singles and doubles title in 2008.


Born September 19, 1990… son of Mark and Jan Reed… National Honor Society and Honor Roll member in high school… his father, Mark, played collegiate baseball at Samford… sister Kersten played two years of volleyball at Lynn University…sister Jillian was the nation junior solo dance champions…majoring in Business Management.
