Outdoor: Ran the second-fastest time in NCAA history (13.00) on his way to a national title in the 110m hurdles…Named a Finalis for The Bowerman…Named the Track and Field News National Athlete of the Year…Became the first Nole to win the National Indoor Scholar-Athlete of the Year…Named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team…First athlete in NCAA history to run 13.22 or faster nine times…Named the USTFCCCA South Region Track Athlete of the Year…Qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a personal best time of 13.07 (-1.5)…Became the sixth-fastest human in world history to run the 110m hurdles in a headwind. 2021

Indoor: Opened his season at the Gamecock Opener winning his first of many 60H competitions with a time of 7.64…at Tyson Invitational he won the 60H (7.55)…won his fourth straight ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 60H with a time of 7.67…advanced to the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships where he finished third in the 60H with a time of 7.53.

Outdoor: First outdoor competition was at FSU Relays where he won the 110H (13.51 (1.3))…at Pepsi Florida Relays in a 110H race among professionals he finished third but the top collegiate athlete with a time of 13.67 (-1.3)…at UF Tom Jones Invitational he finished second behind Olympian Grant Holloway in the 110H recording a personal best time of 13.28 (1.3)… at North Florida Invite once again he finished as top collegian but second overall in the 110H with a time f 13.48 (-2.0)…at ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships he became the 110H Champion with the time of 13.43 (0.1).

2020

Indoor: Swept ACC season-ending honors as Track Performer of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year on the heels of a record-setting season where he emerged as the top-ranked 60-meter hurdler nationally…qualified for the NCAA Championships with a season-best and ACC and FSU record time of 7.51 in the finals of the 60 hurdles at the Tiger Paw Invitational, where he was second to World outdoor and three-time NCAA indoor hurdles champ Grant Holloway…capped his year by becoming the first athlete to win three consecutive ACC 60 hurdles titles, breaking his own championship record (7.60) in the final…thrived on a team that qualified three hurdlers for the NCAA Championships…was unbeaten against collegiate competition with wins at the Orange & Purple Elite (7.61), Bob Pollock Invitational (7.57) and Texas Tech Invitational (7.52)…was one of three finalists for USTFCCCA Indoor Men’s Track Performer of the Year and also spent the entire season on The Bowerman Watch List.

 

2019

Indoor: Finished a career-best third at the NCAA Indoor Championship (7.64) after qualifying second-fastest in the prelims (7.55)…won his second consecutive ACC Indoor Championships 60 hurdles title in 7.64, setting the conference championship meet record…ran the third leg on FSU’s winning 4×400 relay, which gave the Noles a share of the team title…was runner-up to Kentucky’s Daniel Roberts at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational (7.58)…grabbed a share of the FSU and ACC records in the 60-meter hurdles when he ran 7.53 for the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge title at the Armory in New York City, on the same track where he set the World U20 record as a high school senior…that time equaled the ACC mark set by FSU’s Drew Brunson in 2008, who ran it to win the NCAA title. Outdoor: Finished eighth in the 110-meter hurdle finals at the Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships after qualifying fifth in 13.49, the second-fastest time of his career…collegiate season ended prematurely at the NCAA East Preliminary when, while still on the mend from a late-season injury, he hit the ninth and 10th hurdles in the second round and finished 15th…missed the ACC Outdoor Championships after suffering an injury while sprinting at the Tom Jones Memorial…won the Mt. SAC Relays title in a personal-best time of 13.47, which ranks No. 4 all-time among Noles…established personal-bests in the 100 (10.64) and 200 (21.27) at the Crimson Tide Invitational…was second in the 110 hurdles at the FSU Relays in an all-conditions best time of 13.43 (w 2.3).

2018

Indoor: Finished sixth at the NCAA Indoor Championships, running 7.74 in the 60-meter hurdles finals…won the ACC 60 hurdles finals in a season-best 7.70, helping the Noles to the team title…was voted ACC Freshman of the Year…posted three wins in five meets, including collegiate debut of 7.74 in the finals at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational. Outdoor: Finished fourth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 110 hurdles (13.64) to claim his second All-American certificate of the season in the final meet at Oregon’s Historic Hayward Field…rebounded from a third-place finish at the ACC Outdoor Championships where the Noles completed the season sweep of team titles…posted his third and final win of the season at the Seminole Twilight with his PB (13.57)…was selected ACC Freshman of the Year for the second time in 2018.

PERSONAL:

The most accomplished high school hurdler to ever sign at Florida State…broke the U20 World Record twice on his way to the 2017 New Balance Indoor National Championship in the 60-meter hurdles, running 7.40 in the final…incredibly versatile track & field athlete who in addition to the hurdles has excelled from 60-400 meters as well as the long and triple jump…is a 24-time Alabama state champion for Winfield City High School, including 20 individual titles…owns personal-bests of 6.78 (60m dash), 10.76 (100m), 13.35 (110 hurdles), 38.34 (300 hurdles) and 23-4 (long jump), among other events…was limited by injury during his senior outdoor season…also played three years of basketball and two years of cross country…member of the National Honor Society…majoring in public relations…the son of Brad and Shelly Cunningham…born Aug. 26, 1998.
