Sophomore Season (2022-23):

Eight points at Clemson…pulled down 10 rebounds vs. Wake Forest…recorded eight points with six rebounds vs. No. 16 Duke…had 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting vs. Pittsburgh…added seven points and four rebounds vs. No. 11 NC State…11 points with three 3-pointers vs. Clemson…nine points in 18:28 vs. Miami…totaled 11 points with four rebounds vs. No. 9 UConn…had 12 points and nine rebounds in 20 minutes vs. Presbyterian…eight points and four rebounds vs. Stetson…career-best performance in her home country of Mexico, scoring 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting off the bench with six rebounds vs. Harvard at the Cancun Challenge…11 rebounds at Houston…13 points, five rebounds and a key 6-0 run by herself in the fourth quarter vs. Florida…eight points and six rebounds at Kent State…nine rebounds in season opener vs. Bethune-Cookman...emerged as one of the best knock-down shooters in the ACC, shooting 49.7 percent from the floor (72-of-145)...shot 53.3 percent (40-of-75) from 3-point range...recorded six games in double-figure scoring…averaged 17.2 minutes per game as a sophomore, up significantly from her 10.1 minutes per game average as a freshman.

 

Freshman Season (2021-22):

Played in 22 out of 31 games averaging 10.1 minutes per game...averaged 2.3 rebounds per game, notably two games with nine rebounds…shot 48.6 percent (17-of-35) from the field while averaging 2.1 points per game…went 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, shooting 57.1 percent for the season…seven points along with eight rebounds in her FSU debut vs. UNF…nine rebounds against Milwaukee…pulled down six rebounds at Syracuse…seven points and three boards vs. Boston College…added seven points and two assists vs. No. 22 Georgia Tech.

 

Before FSU (At Montverde Academy):

Rated 95th overall, and 18th-best forward, in the 2021 class by ESPN’s HoopGurlz… named Player of the Game six times in Montverde’s 2020-2021 season…represented Mexico at the 2019 FIBA U16 Americas Women’s Championship where in six games she averaged 13.3 points and 15.3 rebounds, along with two 20-rebound performances…in all five games of the 2019 Centrobasket U17 Championship, Valenzuela averaged 14.4 points and 11.4 rebounds, recording double-doubles in each matchup…participated in the NBA Academy Women’s Program Latin America Camp in March 2019…joined the NBA Academy Women’s Program for a three-day minicamp at the NCAA Women’s Final Four in 2019.
