Amy Bond, who is in her 16^th season at Florida State, has built the Florida State Women’s Golf team into a national power, and is recognized as one of the nation’s top coaches.

During the 2025 season, Bond coached the top two ranked amateur and collegiate golfers on the world – Lottie Woad and Mirabel Ting. Woad was ranked No. 1 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking and No. 2 in the Scoreboard by Clipp’d rankings. Ting was ranked No. 1 in the collegiate rankings by Scoreboard and No. 2 in the WAGR.

In the last five seasons, her Seminoles have been ranked No. 1 in the nation, won three NCAA Regional Championships, achieved the best NCAA finish in school history, won the first ACC Championship in school history in 2025, won 16 tournament championships, had five different players named All-American honors and four earn All-ACC honors.

Under Bond, the winningest coach in Florida State history, the Seminoles are an elite team, and one that is expected to compete for the national championship each year. The Seminoles are one of only three schools who have played in each of the last nine NCAA Championship Finals. The Seminoles, who have appeared in each championship event since 2016, have advanced to match play in in 2022, 2023, and 2025 and finished in a program best third place at the 2025 NCAA Championships.

The Seminoles won back to back NCAA Regional Championships (Louisville in 2021 and Tallahassee in 2022) and have played in 17 consecutive NCAA Regional Championships. The Seminoles are joined by Southern California, Stanford, and Texas in an elite group of programs that have played during the final week of the season in each NCAA Championship since 2016.

Bond was named as the seventh head coach in Florida State history on June 25, 2010. Now in her 16^th season at her alma mater, she continues to lead the way nationally for winning, recruiting, coaching, and most importantly to her and her program, graduating her student-athletes.

With 16 team championships in the last five seasons, including three NCAA Regional Championships, Bond, the 2017 and 2025 ACC Coach of the Year, is Florida State’s all-time winningest coach with 27 victories at Florida State. Bond has led her teams at Princeton and Florida State to 34 tournament championships.

In her first 15 seasons as Florida State’s head coach, Bond has developed one of the most competitive programs in the country – one that is consistently competing for conference and national honors. She continues to build her team on the strength of bringing the best players into her program and teaching them to be winners on the collegiate level. Bond’s goals are to win team national championships as she produces outstanding players – players who can be successful at the professional level after they have left their marks at Florida State.

Her teams have recorded the top-10 single season scoring averages in school history including a school-record 288.1 team average during the 2016-17 season when the Seminoles won a school-record six events and led the ACC in stroke average. The Seminoles have ranked in the top four in the ACC in stroke average in each of the last 11 seasons.

Under Bond, the Seminoles have finished in the top-20 in the NCAA Championship Finals in each of the last eight seasons, including seven consecutive top 12 finishes (2018, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25). The Seminoles have finished in the top five in the NCAA Regional Championships in a school record eight consecutive regionals, (at Shoal Creek in 2016, at Ohio State in 2017, in Tallahassee in 2018, at Auburn in 2019, at Louisville in 2021, in Tallahassee in 2022, at Raleigh in 2023, at Las Vegas in 2024, and at Lexington in 2025). The Seminoles won the 2025 ACC Championship while finishing as the ACC runners-up in five of the last eight conference championships (2017, 18, 19, 21 and 22).

Individually, Bond has coached each of the top 25 golfers in school history. She has recruited and coached each of the top seven Seminoles in terms of stroke average – including All-Americans Frida Kinhult, Lottie Woad, Mirabel Ting, Charlotte Heath, Beatrice Wallin, Matilda Castren, Amanda Doherty and Morgane Metraux.

Kinhult finished the 2019 season as one of the greatest golfers in Florida State history. She earned First-Team All-American honors, was named the National Freshman of the Year, won the Golfstat Cup with the nation’s lowest stroke average, was the ACC Golfer of the Year (Co), was the ACC Freshman of Year, was named to the All-ACC team, was a finalist for the ANNIKA and Honda Awards, and was named to the All-ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Bond also coached Beatrice Wallin. Wallin graduated from Florida State with a degree in Humanities on April 29, 2022 as one of two four-time All-Americans in school history (First-Team in 2021 and 2022; Honorable Mention in 2018 and 2019), the 2021 ACC Golfer of the Year and a three-time All-ACC selection. Wallin finished her four-year career with a stroke average of 72.11 – the fourth lowest stroke average in school history and finished her career as one of only four players in school history with a stroke average better than 72.50 strokes per round.

Bond, who grew up in a family of coaches, led Florida State to one of the greatest seasons in school history in 2025.

In 2025, the Seminoles finished in a program-best third place in the NCAA Championship Finals, won the NCAA Lexington Regional Championship, were the No. 1 seed in an NCAA regional championship for the first time in school history, won the ACC Championship for the first time in school history and were ranked in the top 10 of the national rankings throughout the season.

Bond also led the Seminoles to an incredible season in 2017 as the Seminoles were ranked No. 1 in the nation, won six tournament championships, had four players named to the All-ACC team, led the nation in scoring average vs. par, and led the nation in par 5 scoring in route to Bond being named the ACC Coach of the Year. Florida State won an unprecedented six tournaments to tie for the national lead. Never before had any team in Florida State history won more than five events in a single season. Florida State took over the nation's No. 1 ranking after winning the Jim West Challenge and the Cardinal Cup during the fall season in 2016. The Seminoles then earned the highest NCAA regional seed in school history (No. 2), and finished in third place in the NCAA Columbus Regional Championship before earning their second consecutive top-20 finish at the NCAA National Championship Finals.

During her 15 seasons as Florida State’s Head Women’s Golf Coach, Bond has coached 22 All-Americans, three NCAA Regional Champions, 26 All-ACC selections, 41 All-ACC Academic Honor Roll selections with 107 academic honors, 25 players who have been named to the All-ACC Academic team a total of 52 times, and 18 who have been named Scholar All-Americans a total of 38 times.

During her 15 seasons at Florida State, the Seminoles have played in 14 NCAA Championship Tournaments (there was no tournament played in 2020 because of Covid), produced the school’s first three NCAA Regional Champions (Maria Salinas in 2012, Matilda Castren in 2016 and Beatrice Wallin in 2022), earned 21 All-American honors (Matilda Castren in 2014 and 2017, Salinas in 2011 and 2013, Morgane Metraux in 2017 and 2018, Amanda Doherty in 2018, Frida Kinhult in 2019, Beatrice Wallin in 2019, 20, 21 and 22, Amelia Williamson in 2022, Charlotte Heath in 2022 and 23, Lottie Woad in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and Mirabel Ting in 2024), earned 33 All-ACC selections (Salinas in 2011 and 2012, Jessica Negron in 2013, Castren in 2014, 16 and 17, Alex Milan in 2014, Lydia Gumm in 2015 and 17, Kim Metraux in 2016 and 17, Morgane Metraux in 2017 and 18, Doherty in 2018, Kinhult and Wallin in 2019, Charlotte Heath and Wallin in 2021, Heath, Wallin and Amelia Williamson in 2022, Heath, Williamson and Woad in 2023 and Woad and Ting in 2024) and have had 52 players earn All-ACC Academic Golf Team honors.

As the Seminoles’ Head Coach, she has led Florida State to 14 consecutive NCAA Championship Tournament appearances – a streak that brings the program’s current school-record streak to 20 consecutive NCAA appearances entering the 2025-26 season.

With her student-athlete first approach, her love of the game of golf, her unbridled love for Florida State University and her ability to recruit top-level talent, Bond constantly works to take the Seminole Women’s Golf Program to a higher level. That higher level is in the classroom, her relationships with her players, and Florida State’s success on the golf course. Her coaching philosophy has allowed her program to be recognized as one of the top all-around programs in college golf.

The Seminole Women’s Golf Team is recognized as a star among stars as Florida State is annually celebrated as one of the top athletic programs in the nation. Florida State has finished in the top 25 in the Director’s Cup in each of the last 17 years.

As a player, Bond earned a spot on the ACC’s 50^th Anniversary Team. As an assistant coach, she helped the Seminoles to three NCAA Tournament appearances. As Florida State’s Head Coach, she has led the Seminoles to 12 NCAA Championship appearances. She earned All-Region Honors in 1999 as she finished in a tied for 11^th place at the NCAA East Regional Championship.

Throughout her playing career at Florida State, she played as one of the Seminoles’ top players (she was named Florida State’s team MVP in 1997, 1998 and 1999), played with a number of touring professionals (including LPGA major winner and current Golf Channel analyst Karen Stupples) and has coached many of Florida State’s recent greats, including the first four-time golf All-American in school history (Caroline Westrup). While achieving success during her career as a player and a coach, Bond has never lost sight of her ultimate goal: the success and achievements of her student-athletes.

In her 19 seasons as a Seminole coach (five as an assistant and 15 as the head coach), every student-athlete who played through her senior season at Florida State has earned her bachelor’s degree and everyone played on at least one NCAA Tournament team during their careers.

FLORIDA STATE IS HOME FOR BOND
Amy Bond joined the long and illustrious list of Florida State alumni who have returned to coach their alma mater when she was named the Seminoles' head coach on June 25, 2010. She returned to her Seminole roots after an outstanding playing career at Florida State (1994-99) during which she finished in 30th place in the 1999 NCAA Championship Finals, and a five-year career as an assistant coach (2001-06). Bond is one of four Florida State University alumni who are current head coaches at their alma mater joining Brooke Wyckoff (Women’s Basketball), Jennifer Hyde (Women's Tennis), and Link Jarrett (Baseball).

AS THE HEAD COACH AT FLORIDA STATE
Florida State Head Coach Amy Bond has guided 14 Seminole teams to the NCAA Championships. Including her four years as a Seminole player (1994-99), her five years as a Seminole assistant coach (2001-06) and 15 as Florida State’s head coach, Bond has participated in 21 of 24 NCAA Regional Championships while wearing the Garnet and Gold. The Seminoles will look to play in their school record 20th consecutive NCAA Championship Tournament in 2025. The Seminoles finished in third place at the 2025 NCAA Championship Finals.

OLYMPIC HISTORY MADE AT FLORIDA STATE UNDER BOND
Two of Amy Bond’s players – Matilda Castren and Kim Metraux – made Florida State history as they played in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Seminole pair became the first two golfers in the history of the Seminole program to play in the Olympics. Castren, who finished in a tie for 10^th place, represented her home country of Finland. Metraux represented her home country of Switzerland and finished in 54^th place. Morgane Metraux played in the 2024 Paris Olympics and finished in a tie for 18th place in her first Olympic experience. Metraux led the tournament following the second and third days of the event at Le National Golf Course in Paris, France.

SEMINOLES WELL REPRESENTED AT THE AUGUSTA NATIONAL WOMEN’S AMATEUR
Including tournament champion Lottie Woad in 2024, Florida State’s nationally ranked program has been represented in each of the first five Augusta National Women’s Amateur Championships with a program-record three Seminoles in the event in 2023. All-American Beatrice Wallin (2019, 2021, 2022) is the only player in the tournament’s history to earn three top-10 finishes (tied for fourth in 2022; tied for seventh in 2019 and tied for 10th in 2021) while All-American Amanda Doherty finished tied for 21^stin her only appearance in 2019. Lottie Woad (13^th), Charlotte Heath (25^th) and Amelia Williamson all played in the 2023 AWNA. Woad won the championship while Mirabel Ting finished eighth in 2024.

FLORIDA STATE AND MATCH PLAY AT THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
Florida State is one of just three teams – the Seminoles, Stanford, and Texas A&M – who have advanced to match play in the NCAA Championship Finals in 2022, 2023 and 2025. The Seminoles finished in third place in the NCAA Championship Finals in 2025.

BEST SEASON IN SCHOOL HISTORY IN 2025
Florida State finished in a program-best third place in the NCAA Championship finals, won the NCAA Lexington Regional Championship, won the first ACC Championship in Florida State history, and won a school-record seven team championships during the 2024-25 season. The Seminoles boasted two First Team All-Americans (Lottie Woad and Mirabel Ting), the ANNIKA Award winner (Ting), the WGCA Player of the Year (Ting), the ACC Golfer of the Year (Ting) and the ACC Student-Athlete of the Year (Woad).

SENSATIONAL SEASON FOR THE SEMINOLES IN 2024
Bond helped guide the Seminole women to a top-12 finish at the 2024 NCAA Championship Finals, marking the sixth consecutive season in the national top 12 under the Florida State alumnus. Under her guidance, standout golfer Lottie Woad earned All-American honors and is ranked first in school history for career stroke average. Woad also won the Augusta National Women’s Amateur in 2024. The team also achieved academic excellence, recording a program-high 3.892 GPA in the 2024 spring semester. Five players were named to the 2024 WGCA Scholar Athlete Team, continuing Florida State’s tradition of success both on the course and in the classroom.

THREE TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIPS IN 2022
Amy Bond led the Seminoles to three tournament championships – at the Barbara Nicklaus Cup, the Moon Invitational and the NCAA Tallahassee Regional – marking the third time in her coaching career she has led Florida State to at least three wins in a single year in 2022. She led the Seminoles to their second consecutive regional Championship and into the NCAA Championship Finals for the 11^th time in Tallahassee. Florida State finished in sixth place in stroke play, advanced to match play for the first time in school history and earned a program-best fifth place finish in the NCAA Championship Finals. Beatrice Wallin (All-American First-Team and All-ACC), Amelia Williamson (All-American Second-Team and All-ACC) and Charlotte Heath (All-American Honorable Mention and All-ACC) earned postseason honors. The Seminoles also performed well academically with a school-record five golfers named to the WGA Scholar Team (Cecilie Finne-Ipsen, Alice Hodge, Elle Johnson, Kaylah Williams, Williamson), six named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll (Finne-Ipsen, Madison Hewlett, Hodge, Johnson Williams, and Williamson) and two named to the All-ACC Academic Women’s Golf team (Hodge and Williamson). Williamson became the first Seminole to be named the ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year. The Seminoles were ranked No. 7 in the final Golfstat poll and No. 9 in the final Golfweek poll of the season.

A HISTORIC SEASON FOR THE SEMINOLES IN 2021
Florida State was ranked No. 1 nationally, won the first regional championship in school history and finished in a program-best ninth place in the NCAA Championship Finals in 2020-21. The Seminoles were ranked in the top 10 throughout the spring season, were ranked No. 1 for two weeks in March and were the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Louisville Regional. Florida State won the team title at the NCAA Louisville Regional Championship and entered the 2021 NCAA Championship Finals seeded No. 9. Florida State won three tournament championships (at the Florida State Match Up, the Pinetree Collegiate and the NCAA Louisville Regional) and finished as the runner-up in the ACC Championship for the school-record fourth consecutive year. Junior Beatrice Wallin was named a First-Team All-American by the WGCA, was the ACC Golfer of the Year, was an All-ACC selection (along with freshman Charlotte Heath) for the second time and was named the ACC Golfer of the Month in March. Wallin won the first two tournament championships of her career (at the Florida State Match Up and the Pinetree Collegiate). Junior Amelia Williamson (tied for second) and Wallin (tied for seventh) were named to the NCAA Louisville Regional All-Regional Team. Academically, four players were named to the WGCA All-America Scholar Team (Alice Hodge, Elle Johnson, Taylor Roberts, and Williamson), three were named to the All-ACC Academic Team (Hodge, Roberts, and Williamson) and six were named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll (Hodge, Johnson, Kathleen Sumner, Roberts, Wallin, and Williamson).

THE SEMINOLES ENJOYED AN OUTSTANDING SEASON IN 2019
Florida State finished the 2018-19 season with two victories (at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate and the Evans Derby Invitational) while finishing in a tied for 12^th at the NCAA Championship Finals, in second place at the NCAA Auburn Regional and in second place in the ACC Championship for the third consecutive season. The Seminoles were ranked No. 9 by Golfstat and No. 10 by Golfweek and spent the majority of the year ranked in the nation’s top-10. Individually, Florida State was well represented nationally as Frida Kinhult earned First Team All-American honors as named by both the WGCA and Golfweek, was named the National Freshman of the Year, the ACC Golfer of the Year (CO) and the ACC Freshman of the Year while earning the Golfstat Cup for the nation’s lowest stroke average. Kinhult and fellow-freshman Beatrice earned All-American and All-ACC honors. Every member of the team (nine golfers) was named to the All-ACC Academic Team while junior Amanda Doherty and Puk Lyng Thomsen were named to the WGCA Academic All-American Team, the All-ACC Academic Golf Team, and the All-ACC Academic Honor Roll.

BOND LED FLORIDA STATE TO A HISTORIC SEASON IN 2017
Florida State enjoyed one of the top seasons in school history in 2017, as it earned the nation’s No. 1 ranking, won a school record six tournament championships, were the No. 2 seed at the NCAA Columbus Regional Championship and played in the NCAA Championships finals for the second consecutive season. The Seminoles led the ACC and finished second nationally with a school record stroke average. Individually, two different golfers won five different tournament championships, a school record four golfers earned All-ACC honors and two earned All-American honors. Academically, each of Florida State’s five starters were named to the All-ACC Academic Golf Team, all 12 members of the team were named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and three players were named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team. The Seminoles finished the 2016-17 season ranked No. 6 by Golfweek and No. 11 by Golfstat.

FLORIDA STATE EARNED OUTSTANDING SUCCESS IN 2016
Florida State finished the 2015-16 season ranked No. 19 nationally by Golfstat, No. 24 nationally by Golfweek and finished 15^th nationally in the NCAA Division I Championship Finals. The Seminoles finished in second place at the NCAA Division I Shoal Creek Regional, won team championships in the Fall 2015 Jacksonville Classic and the Spring 2016 Florida State Match-Up, finished in the top five of nine of its 13 matches, had two players earn NCAA Shoal Creek All-Region honors (Matilda Castren and Kim Metraux) and had two players earn All-ACC honors (Castren and Kim Metraux). Academically, the Seminoles had each member of its team named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll, saw four players named to the ACC All-Academic Women’s Golf Team (Castren, Lydia Gumm, Kim and Morgane Metraux) and had two players (Kim and Morgane Metraux) named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Athlete Team.

2014 WAS A SPECIAL SEASON AT FLORIDA STATE
Amy Bond led Florida State to its ninth consecutive NCAA Regional Championship appearance, to the team championship at the Web.com/Marsh Landing Intercollegiate, had one player earn All-American honors (Matilda Castren), and had two players earn All-ACC honors (Castren and Alex Milan) in 2014. In earning All-ACC honors, Castren established a school record for low stroke average in a single season with her 71.83 scoring mark. Florida State’s team victory at the Web.com/Marsh Landing Intercollegiate was the first team championship by the Seminoles since the 2010 season when it won the Bryan National Collegiate Championship.

BOND AS A TOURNAMENT HOST
Bond’s passion for growing the game of golf has increased her desire to plan and host large-scale tournaments at Florida State. She hosted the NCAA East Regional Championship in 2014 and the NCAA Tallahassee Regional Championship in both 2018 and 2022. Bond has played host to 12 Florida State Match Up Tournaments and will host a fourth Regional Championship in May 2026, as she continues to attract high level competition to the city of Tallahassee on an annual basis.

SUCCESS AT PRINCETON
Bond was successful in her first head coaching position at Princeton (2006-10) as she guided the Tigers to eight tournament victories and four top four finishes in four Ivy League championship tournaments. The Tigers finished in second place in the Ivy league championship in 2007. Bond coached Susannah Aboff to consecutive Ivy League individual championships in 2008 and 2009. It marked only the third time in league history that a player had won consecutive individual conference championships. Aboff earned All-Ivy League honors three times during her career, becoming just the second player in school history to be named to the all-league team three times in her career. During her four seasons at Princeton, only the Tigers and Harvard performed consistently well in the conference championship by finishing in the top four of the team championships from 2007-10.

RECRUITING SUCCESS AT FLORIDA STATE
During her tenure as the head coach at Florida State, she has continued the tradition of recruiting talented players and outstanding student-athletes to Tallahassee. The Seminoles’ 2018 recruiting class (Caroline Hodge, Frida Kinhult, Puk Lyng Thomsen, Amelia Williamson, Beatrice Wallin) is not only considered to be the best class in school history, but it is among the top classes in the history of women’s college golf. Her list of top recruits includes Matilda Castren, the Seminoles’ second all-time leading golfer for stroke average and individual wins, and five players who have been named to the WGCA Academic All-Americans Scholar Athlete Team. Kim and Morgane Metraux, who are two of the top rising amateur players in the world, and Lottie Woad who won the 2022 British Girls Amateur Championship were also recruited by Bond to attend Florida State. In five years as an assistant coach at Florida State, Bond helped recruit five players who earned All-ACC honors a total of 12 times and formed the nucleus of two top 20 ranked teams. The Seminoles finished in a tie for 16th nationally in 2006 and in a tie for 19th nationally in 2004. She was also instrumental in recruiting Caroline Westrup – one of only two four-time All-Americans and the only four-time All-ACC selection in school history.

RECRUITING SUCCESS AT PRINCETON
During her four seasons at Princeton, Bond recruited and coached two players (Susannah Aboff and Kelly Shon), who qualified to play in at least one NCAA Regional Championship each and five players who earned All-Ivy League honors a total of 11 times. Aboff won eight individual tournament championships during her career and finished in a tie for 23rd place at the NCAA East Regional Championship in 2009 - the third highest NCAA regional finish in the history of the Princeton program. Shon played in the 2011 and 2012 US Women's Open and was ranked No. 4 nationally among junior golfers at the time she was recruited. She is still the highest ranked junior recruit to ever attend an Ivy League institution. Shon earned All-American Honorable Mention Honors from the Women’s Golf Coaches’ Association in 2013, played in the 2013
NCAA East Regional Championship and the 2013 NCAA National Championship, was named the Ivy League Golfer of the Year, and won the Ivy League Championship in 2013.

PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS
Bond has recruited and coached nine players who have played, or who are currently playing professional golf. She coached Kristin Tamulis (Florida State), Matilda Castren (Florida State), Morgane Metraux (Florida State), Amanda Doherty (Florida State), Frida Kinhult (Florida State), Lottie Woad (Florida State) and who are currently playing on the LPGA Tour. She also recruited and coached four-time All-American Caroline Westrup (Florida State) who played in the 2013 U.S. Open (and who is currently the Head Coach at Missouri), two who are playing on the LET (Kim Metraux. Puk Lung Thomsen), two who are currently playing in the Epson Tour (Beatrice Wallin and Amelia Williamson), one who is currently on the LET Access Tour (Cecilie Finne-Ipsen), and four who earned success on the Epson Tour (Lacey Agnew, Jaclyn Burch, Alex Milan, and Macarena Silva), one on the European Tour (Maria Salinas), and three players (Susannah Aboff, Marlowe Boukis and Michelle Grilli) who began their professional careers on the LPGA Symetra Tour.

SEMINOLES AT THE 2013 U.S. WOMEN’S OPEN
Bond and the Seminoles were well represented at the 2013 U.S. Women’s Open at Sebonack Golf Club with four of the top players in the history of the program – Karen Stupples, Kristin Tamulis, Macarena Silva, and Caroline Westrup – all playing in the event. Prior to the event, Bond said of the one of the greatest foursomes in program history: “This is a great week for each of the four players and for the Florida State women’s golf program. To have four of our players in the U.S. Open in the same year is exciting and illustrates the rich tradition of our program. I am very happy for Karen, who I have known for so many years and for Kris, Maca, and Caroline who I had the good fortune of coaching during their careers at Florida State. Playing in the U.S. Open is an awesome accomplishment for all of them and I couldn’t be happier for all of them.”

BOND ON THE NATIONAL SCENE
Bond, a past President of the Women’s Golf Coaches Association, served as the President of the organization from 2013-16. She served as a past president from 2016-18. She has held a number of positions on the national governing board after serving the organization as its treasurer beginning in 2008. Bond began on the WGCA Board as its treasurer (2008-12), was its vice president (2012-13) and then as its president (2013-16). The WGCA was formed in 1983 as an organization to promote participation in women's collegiate golf. The vision of the WGCA since its inception has been to encourage the playing of intercollegiate golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Bond was presented with the Founders Award by the WGCA in 2018. The award is presented to the coach who best exemplifies outstanding service to her community. In 2025 she was named the ACC Coach of the Year for the second time and led the Seminoles to the first ACC Championship in school history.

ACADEMIC ACCOLADES
Academic success is the cornerstone of Florida State’s program under Amy Bond. In 2016 (10), 2017 (12), 2018 (eight) and 2019 (nine), every member of the Seminole Women’s Golf Team was named to the ACC Academic Honor Team. The Women’s Golf Team earned the highest grade point average of the Seminoles’ 20 athletic teams in 2016 (3.591), 2017 (3.616), and 2024 (3.674). In 2022 and 2024, the Seminoles set a program record as five players were named to the WCGA Scholar Athlete Team. The Seminoles’ individual success has certainly translated into team success during Bond’s head coaching tenure at Florida State. The Seminoles team was lauded by the NCAA for attaining a perfect multi-year Academic Performance Rate score of 1000 for the latest measuring period in 2017-20. The Florida State women’s golf team has achieved a perfect APR in each of Bond’s seasons as Florida State’s head coach. Calculated over the four most recent years of data, the multi-year APR is a real-time measurement of eligibility and retention of student-athletes competing on every NCAA Division I sports team. Bond developed her academic achievement philosophy as a player at Florida State as she was named an Academic All-American in 1998 and 1999 and earned ACC Academic Honor Roll accolades three times during her playing career (1996, 98, 99). Bond’s teams in 2016, 2017, and 2024 were presented with the Golden Torch at Florida State’s student-athlete gala for the team with the highest GPA. Bond’s 2015 team finished the spring semester with 12 players earning a 3.0 grade point average or higher. The women's golf team was the only team at Florida State to accomplish that feat during the spring 2015 academic semester.

TOP 50 PLAYER IN ACC HISTORY
Bond was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference 50th Anniversary Team in 2002 along with Seminole greats Karen Stupples and Louise Wright. Bond was a 1998 All-ACC selection, as well. She earned 10 top-10 finishes during her career and was named the Seminoles' Most Valuable Player each year during her career. Bond competed in the NCAA Championship Tournament in 1999 and played in three NCAA regional tournaments while finishing in the top 20 in four consecutive ACC Championship tournaments. She was an All-Region selection in 1999 and was the medalist at the 1998 Ryder/Florida State Championship Tournament.
COMMUNITY SERVICE CHAMPIONS
The Seminoles Women's Golf Team has won 14 Athletic Director's Cups for Service at Florida State’s annual Golden Nole Banquet. The Athletic Director's Cup for Service is presented annually and is the most prestigious award given to the Seminole student-athletes. It goes to the team that contributes the most service hours to the community over the course of an entire year. The Seminoles won the Athletic Director's Cup for Service in each of Bond's five years as an assistant coach and in four of her first 11 seasons as the Seminoles' head coach.

PERSONAL
An Ocala, Florida native, Bond earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management from Florida State in 1997 before earning her Master's Degree in Sport Administration from Florida State in 1999. Bond’s twin brother, Tommy, is the head baseball coach at Trinity Catholic in Ocala, Fla. Tommy led Trinity Catholic to the 4A state championship in 2014.
