Austin Lewis

Austin Lewis is in his first season as Florida State’s assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2026.
Lewis comes to Tallahassee after two seasons at Baylor University, working as an assistant director in the athletics performance department and focusing on position-specific training for the offensive and defensive line. He was a strength and conditioning intern at Tennessee in 2024 after working at Triple F Elite Sports Training in Knoxville.
Lewis played six seasons of college football at Liberty (2018-20), East Tennessee State (2021) and Tennessee (2022-23). A defensive lineman, he was a FWAA Freshman All-American and VaSID Defensive Rookie of the Year with the Flames in 2018 before earning SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition in 2022 and 2023 with the Volunteers.
Lewis earned his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from East Tennessee State in 2022 and earned his Master’s degree in agricultural leadership, education and communications at Tennessee in 2023. Lewis and his wife, Abigail, have two sons, Aro and Milo.
