Austin Phillips is in his sixth season as Florida State's director of coaching video after being promoted to his current position in 2020.
Phillips joined FSU in May of 2017 after six years on the coaching video staff at the University of Central Florida. He served as an intern in 2017 before being promoted to video coordinator in the spring of 2018. In his time at FSU, Phillips has created one of the largest college scouting databases in the country and continues to keep FSU Athletics ahead of the ever-evolving technology curve.
Phillips is an active member of the College Sports Video Association and serves on the Catapult Open Exchange Power Users Committee. He earned his bachelor's degree in cinema studies from UCF in 2017.
Originally from Satellite Beach, Florida, Phillips has a son, Colton.
