Cathleen Cawley

Cathleen Cawley is in her first year as a Coordinator of Business Operations. She is the business liaison for the baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, lacrosse, soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s tennis, and volleyball teams.
Cawley brings nearly 20 years of collegiate athletics experience to her position within the Florida State Department of Athletics with an extensive background in team operations. Her previous roles include serving as director of operations for the track & field programs at the University of Alabama. Cawley has also held national and international leadership positions with USA Track & Field.
Her collegiate coaching and operations experience in the sport of track & field include positions at the University of Alabama, University of Idaho, Colorado State University, University of Northern Colorado and the Colorado School of Mines.
Cawley’s positions at USA Track and Field include serving as the head manager for the United States’ women’s team at the 2019 World Track & Field Championships in Doha, Qatar. She has also served on numerous national committees including the USA Track and Field Women’s Development Committee as the Horizontal Jumps Chair.
Cawley is the former President of the USWTCA (US Women’s Track Coaches Association).
She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond and her MBA from Colorado State University.
