Charlie Votey joined Florida State Athletics as the NIL Coordinator in 2025, bringing several years of experience supporting Seminole student-athletes in the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) space. A proud two-time Florida State graduate with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Sport Management, Votey previously served as Director of Community Partnerships and Player Relations at Rising Spear, where he managed student-athlete relationships, brand collaborations, and community activations.
Prior to his work in NIL, Votey gained experience in Florida State Football Recruiting and with FSU Baseball’s Performance Analytics team. His background combines student-athlete development, recruiting operations, and brand strategy to help Seminole athletes maximize their NIL opportunities.
