Courtney Caswell was hired as the director of football finance in May 2025 and is in her first season with Florida State football for the 2025 season. A Tallahassee native and two-time graduate of Florida State, Caswell was most recently the director of operations with Navy baseball.

With the Midshipmen in 2024, Caswell was a vital part of Chuck Ristano’s Navy team that reached the Patriot League Championship series for the first time since 2019. In 2025, she was part of the Navy staff that helped the Midshipmen claim the annual baseball Star series with rival Army for the first time since 2021. Among her duties as director of operations, Caswell managed all aspects of team travel and oversaw on-campus recruiting operations.

Prior to her time in Annapolis, Caswell spent four seasons with Florida State baseball, holding roles in alumni relations and fundraising before ending as the recruiting and quality control analyst for the 2023 season. Working with head coach Link Jarrett and Ristano, who was FSU’s pitching coach that season, Caswell assisted in recruiting compliance, video technology and player development while overseeing MLB Draft analysis.

Caswell earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communication/media studies and sport management from Florida State in 2019 and earned her master’s degree in sport management from FSU in 2021.
