Dakarai Calhoun joined the Florida State University Athletic Department in August 2021 and serves as an athletic equipment manager.  He works with the Seminole lacrosse, men's golf and women's golf teams. 

Calhoun came to Florida State after four years at Florida A&M University.

Calhoun has been Director of Equipment Operations at Florida A&M University and Western Illinois University, He has also been an assistant equipment manager at William and Mary.

Calhoun is a graduate of Florida A&M University.  He and his wife, Rica, have twin boys, Mason and Micah, and one daughter, Sophia.
