Dakota Wild joined Florida State University in July 2025 through Anthony Travel, where he serves as travel account manager for Florida State Athletics. In this role, he oversees team and recruiting travel across several sports, working closely with coaches, staff, and department administrators to coordinate transportation and lodging. From managing large-scale travel for in-season competitions to organizing individualized recruiting trips, Wild plays a vital role in keeping FSU’s athletic programs moving efficiently and effectively.
Before coming to Florida State, Wild spent several years with the University of Southern Mississippi, where he steadily advanced through football operations staff. He began in 2021 as a football operations assistant and was promoted to assistant director of football operations in 2023. During his time at Southern Miss, he managed logistics for team travel, coordinated official and unofficial visits for recruits, and supported a range of day-to-day operational needs within the football program.
Wild’s career in collegiate athletics began in 2018, and he brings experience in multiple areas including athletic marketing, equipment management, and operations. His diverse background gives him a broad understanding of the many moving parts within a successful athletic department, and he is known for his attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to stay organized in high-pressure situations.
A native of Albany, Louisiana, Wild earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from the University of Southern Mississippi. He and his wife, AnnaMeadows, are proud parents to their son, Blaze.
