DJ Daniels

DJ Daniels is in his second season on Florida State's football staff in 2025 and first as director of recruiting strategy. He was promoted to his current role after serving as FSU's assistant director of player personnel in 2024.
Daniels, who was a tight end for the Seminoles from 2020-22, joined the FSU staff in 2023 when he served as assistant director of player development. As a player, Daniels appeared in nine games during FSU's 10-win season in 2022 and was twice named to the ACC Honor Roll.
Originally from Wilson, North Carolina, Daniels was drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. He spent four years in the Blue Jays organization and appeared in 163 games before enrolling at FSU. Daniels earned his bachelor's degree in sport management from Florida State in 2023.
