Ethan Burdette is in his sixth season as a broadcast engineer and audio/video technician at Seminole Productions – the professional live sports broadcasting, sports venue entertainment, and special event production department within the Florida State University’s College of Communication and Information that works directly with the FSU Department of Athletics.

Burdette’s responsibilities include equipment maintenance and installation of new hardware in assistance of the event operations staff. He holds production management responsibilities to ensure correct procedures and protocols are followed when building live event sets throughout Florida State’s campus. Burdette is also involved with teaching students on campus, coordinating with the FSU IT department for successful linear and non-linear events, and working within the athletics department to ensure its audio and video needs are completed.

Before taking his full-time position with Seminole Productions, he worked as a Freelance Broadcast Engineer for two years, also with Seminole Productions.

Burdette graduated from the Lexington (Ky.) School of the Arts in 2019 as a Certified Audio/Recording Engineer.
