Gina Maddox is the Program Manager for Student Athletic Scholarships and Financial Aid.
Maddox began her career at Florida State University in the Controller’s Office and Office of Financial Aid in 1987. Following several years at the university, she decided to pursue a lifelong ambition to become a law enforcement officer and joined the police academy in 1994. She was hired by the Tallahassee Police Department in 1994 and spent nearly 24 years serving the citizens of Tallahassee in various roles as a patrol officer, training officer, firearms instructor, financial crimes investigator, internal affairs investigator, and police sergeant.
Maddox returned to the FSU Office of Financial Aid in 2018. In 2022, and began her career as the Program Manager of Student Athletic Scholarships and Financial Aid. In her current role, she oversees all aspects of athletic scholarship processing including the awarding and disbursement of scholarships while working closely with the FSU Athletic Office of Compliance to ensure NCAA and federal regulations are enforced.
