Hannah Bazemore is in her first year at Florida State after being named the Seminoles' senior deputy athletics director and senior woman's administrator in August of 2026.
She serves on the athletics department's executive leadership team while providing leadership across several areas of the athletics department, including sport administration, departmental operations, and strategic initiatives while also serving in the SWA role. Bazemore also will serve a crucial role in advancing the department's strategic and operational priorities as the Seminoles continue to position the department for success in the rapidly evolving landscape of college athletics.
Bazemore brought more than two decades of collegiate administration experience to Tallahassee, including four years as the director of athletics at Campbell University. In that role, Bazmore provided leadership and oversight for the university's intercollegiate athletics program and helped guide Campbell through a period of significant growth and change in college athletics.
She led the department's transition from the Big South Conference to the Coastal Athletic Association in 2023, further elevating Campbell's athletics profile. Her time as athletics director featured a continued investment in the student-athlete experience, facilities and the overall competitiveness of the Fighting Camels' athletics programs, evidenced by 65 conference titles earned during her four-year tenure atop the department.
Prior to her appointment as athletics director, Bazemore spent 24 years in the Fighting Camels' business office. She began her time as a graduate assistant before being hired in a full-time capacity in 2010. She was eventually promoted to assistant director for business operations and business manager before being promoted again to senior associate athletics director for business and finance.
Bazemore has engaged and managed virtually every administrative area during her time at her alma mater, including financial planning of a multi-million dollar operation, budgeting, information technology, facilities, game operations, athletic equipment operations, and capital projects, including a sports performance center and softball turf project.
She is a recognized leader nationally and a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) and Women Leaders in College Sports.
Bazemore earned her bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in business administration from Campbell in 2007 and completed her MBA from Campbell in 2009.
