Jayson Woodrich, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, serves as a graduate assistant for the Florida State men’s basketball program.

Woodrich played collegiate basketball at Cleveland State University, where he earned a degree in Business while competing for the Vikings men’s basketball team. During his career, he helped lead the program to two Horizon League championships and holds the school record for most games played. Following his time at Cleveland State, Woodrich completed his final collegiate season at Oakland University, where he served as team captain.

As a graduate assistant at Florida State, Woodrich focuses on player development, film breakdown, scouting preparation, recruiting support, and assisting in various areas that contribute to the overall success of the program.

Woodrich appreciates the strong atmosphere and support from Florida State’s student body and fan base, as well as the opportunity to develop within the program. He credits head coach Luke Loucks for having a significant influence on his growth as both a coach and a person through his leadership, knowledge of the game, and emphasis on relationships within the program.
