Jeffrey Nielson joined Seminole Boosters in March 2022 and serves as the Data Analytics & Insights Manager, where he leads efforts to harness data strategy across ticketing, premium seating, corporate hospitality, and annual athletic fundraising. With a strong background in statistical analysis and business intelligence, Nielson creates data-driven insights and reporting tools to optimize revenue, enhance fan engagement, and support strategic decision-making.
He holds a Master of Science in Statistics from Florida State University (2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from BYU-Idaho (2014). Prior to his role at Seminole Boosters, Nielson worked as a Senior Statistical Data Scientist/Analyst for the State of Florida Auditor General. He also teaches online statistics courses through BYU-Idaho and the University of London.
Nielson has been privileged to be married to his best friend of 13 years, Sharla, and they have four wonderful children. They all live by the family motto “Go, Team, Go!” and enjoy attending sporting events, concerts, traveling, and spending time with family.
