Joe Manion

Joe Manion is in his first season as Florida State’s director of college scouting in 2026. He comes to Tallahassee from Columbia University, where he was the Lions’ director of player personnel and general manager since 2024.
Manion managed all aspects of recruiting for the Lions after spending 2023 at Kent State in a similar position. Manion had previous stops at Harvard as director of football operations and recruiting, Army as director of recruiting operations and Villanova, James Madison and Nebraska in various football operations and recruiting capacities.
Manion graduated from St. Joseph’s in 2016 after a four-year career on the baseball team. He earned his Master’s in Business from Nebraska in 2018.
