Mack Leonard is in her third year working in Florida State’s athletics department, where she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her current role as Coordinator of Business Operations. In this position, she serves as the business operations liaison for the Football and Softball programs, as well as revenue sharing initiatives across the department.
Leonard joined the Florida State football program as the Coordinator of Player Development and Operations in March of 2024. A standout softball player at Florida State, Leonard was the football program’s Coordinator of Player Development and Operations for one year after serving as the Assistant Director of Operations for Florida State’s Women’s Basketball team during the 2023-24 season. Her responsibilities with Women’s Basketball included coordinating travel, special events, community service activities, and working with Seminole Boosters on events and relationships related to the program.
In two seasons on FSU’s softball team, Leonard appeared in 125 games and hit .316 with 14 home runs, 90 RBI, and 28 doubles while posting a 3.13 earned-run average over 71.2 innings pitched. She helped lead the Seminoles to the WCWS Championship Series as a senior in 2023, allowing only four earned runs in 14.1 innings pitched during the postseason. Leonard was named to the ACC All-Tournament Team in both seasons with the Seminoles and earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2022, when she led FSU with a .375 batting average, followed by third-team all-conference recognition in 2023. She began her collegiate career at Illinois State, where she earned first-team All-MVC honors in 2021 after posting a .425 batting average—ranking third on the program’s single-season list.
Leonard earned her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary social science from Florida State in 2022 and completed her master’s in sport management from FSU in 2024.
