Matthew joined the Florida State University Student-Athlete Academic Services Staff in May 2024.
Matthew's career in SAAS started as an Academic Fellow. Before joining the staff, Matthew was a student-athlete at Florida State University, competing on the men’s cross-country and track & field teams. A native of Tallahassee, Florida and a lifelong Seminole, Matthew graduated in 2022 and 2024 with his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sport Management, respectively.
Matthew was a member of three Golden Torch winning teams at FSU for the highest GPA in the athletic department. He also earned the 2023 individual Golden Torch Award for Men’s Cross Country and was a four-time member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
