Reagan Zabatta is in her first year as director of compliance after joining the Florida State athletics department in October of 2026.
Zabatta returned to Tallahassee after one year as the director of compliance at Furman University. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing initial and continuing eligibility, CARA logs, transfer portal, roster caps and personnel tracking. She also educated student-athletes on NIL Go and new legislation and provided interpretations for coaching staffs.
Her career in compliance began as an intern at FSU in the spring of 2025. She completed initial eligibility evaluations, oversaw the charitable donation request process, logged player participation and seasons used, and created education materials for coaches and student-athletes. While she was an undergraduate, Zabatta served as an equipment intern working with soccer and softball.
Zabatta earned her bachelor's degree in sport management from Florida State in 2024 and completed her master's degree in sport management from FSU in 2025.
