Staci Sutton joined Florida State Athletics in 2001 and begins her 25th season with the Seminoles in 2025.
Sutton began as the assistant cheerleading coach after her graduation. After a year and a half as the assistant cheerleading coach, Sutton was promoted to head coach and spirit coordinator, a position she held until 2022. In addition to her responsibilities with the spirit programs, she managed the budgets for the marketing, digital media, sports cinema, and public relations departments.
Since 2022, Sutton has remained as the athletics coordinator to handle administrative responsibilities for the public relations department.
Sutton is originally from Altamonte Springs, where she attended Lake Brantley High School, and is a former Florida State University All-Girl cheerleader. She earned her bachelor's degree in sport management from FSU in 2001.
