Taylor Evans joined Florida State women’s basketball as the Chief of Staff in September 2026.
Evans had a brief stint as the Director of Operations for Virginia Tech’s track and field and cross country programs in the summer of 2026 before joining the Seminoles. Evans spent the last five years as the Director of Operations for Arizona State’s XCTF programs. With the Sun Devils, she handled organizing travel and competition accommodations as well as overseeing home meet management from 2021 until July 2026. In that time, she also became the operations coordinator and assistant coach for men’s and women’s sprints and mid-distance.
Prior to ASU, Evans spent over two years with Iwele Global Management as a sports manager and publicist. She spent several years with ALTIS in Phoenix, Arizona and held volunteer coaching positions with Texas Tech (2012-13) and Clemson (2013-14), in which she also assisted the Director of Operations at each program.
Evans earned her bachelor’s in kinesiology and exercise science from Texas Tech in 2012, where she was a nine-time All-American as a track and field athlete. She went on to complete her master’s in sports law and business at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2016, and later earned her master’s in law from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona in 2021.
Evans is the daughter of Olympian Dwayne Evans, who won bronze in the men’s 200m at the 1976 Olympic Games. She has a son, Zolani-Parker.
