Vito Tonejc is in his first year with the Florida State tennis staff after joining FSU as an assistant coach on August 25, 2025.
Tonejc played collegiate tennis at DePaul from 2018-2024, earning All-Big East honors three times, while also being named the back-to-back Big East Player of the Year in 2021 and 2022. Tonejc earned 123 total collegiate victories, completing his senior season with a 28-9 singles record, and helped lead the Blue Demons to their first-ever Big East conference title in 2021. He was also recognized in 2021 and 2022 as the DePaul Male Player of the Year.
After graduating, Tonejc played professionally, earning a career-high ranking of No. 776 in the ATP World Rankings.
