TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Ten members of the Florida State swimming and diving teams were named to the All-ACC Academic Team on Wednesday.

Mason Herbet, Fr. , Pre-Mechanical Engineering
Jakub Ksiazek***, Jr., Finance
Max McCusker**, Jr., Economics
David Quirie, Fr., Pre-Chemical Engineering
The four women selected captured the honor for the first time in their careers. Davidson picked up his fourth-straight nod to the team, while both Bastian and Ksiazek earned their third. McCusker made his second team, while Herbet and Quirie were chosen for their first.
“It was exciting to see so many of our student-athletes on this list,” FSU head coach Neal Studd said. “I’m incredibly proud of how well they handled doing both athletics and academics at such a high level.”
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
