2024 Conceptual Experiences – Doak Campbell Stadium: Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Who is FSU working with on this project?
A. Populous is the architectural firm providing the conceptual design for stadium enhancements. No further agreements with outside companies have been made at this point in the process. As we measure your interest and commitment through pre-selling, we will seek additional partners for construction.

Q: What will enhancements and amenities look like in 2024?
A: Currently we have three seating options in Doak Campbell; suites, the Dunlap Champions Club and the bench seating throughout the main stands. This plan will provide 6-8 new experiences, concourses will be enhanced, new social and concession areas will be added, and added WiFi connectivity will become available. The new concessionaire will take over stadium food and beverage offerings beginning this upcoming season.

Q. How will the pre-sell process work?
A. We will pre-sell in two groups. Current season ticket holders who sit in seats where new experiences are being considered will have first option to purchase the new experiences. Those members will be placed in priority order based on annual membership tier and points and contacted individually about these experiences.
Following that group, current season ticket holders and members will be placed in a priority order, and members will have the opportunity to select experiences for 2024 based on availability at the time of their selection.

Q: How does this affect my current seat area?
A: Current season ticket holders who sit in areas that will be enhanced with a new experience will have the first opportunity to select an experience. If they do not wish to purchase the new experience in that area, all current members will be placed into a priority order, then each member will have the opportunity to select an experience for 2024 based on availability after renewals.

Q: Will my seat be affected prior to 2024?
A: No, you will remain in your current seat by renewing each of the next three seasons. However, amenities can improve and pricing could change over the next three years in advance of the renovation.

Q: I’ve had my same seats for many years, what happens for 2024?
A: We have heard from many of our loyal season ticket holders, like yourself, who would like an improved stadium experience. Chief among those requests has been a desire for new seating options.

Q. Why is the Ticket Priority Policy used to pre-sell the new experiences?
A. In 1979, Florida State University established the Priority Policy to guide a balanced approach to ticket demand. The same process will be used during pre-selling of new experiences. View the current policy here: https://boosters.fsu.edu/priority-points

Q: What is the pricing for the new experiences and what are the options?
A: Pricing has not been finalized as the approval to pre-sell was step one. We will now begin to work on the details of the proposed concepts. The pre-selling process is scheduled to take up to two years as we are committed to meeting with each donor, one-on-one, to walk through the plan and experiences being offered.

Q: What is my priority based on?
A: Priority order is determined by current year Annual Fund tier and total points within each tier.

Q: What happens to the rest of the seats that are not changing to new experiences?
A: The presale process over the next two years will determine demand for new experiences and help with the final stadium improvement plans.
