Florida State Men’s Golf Announces Spring Schedule

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Men’s Golf is bringing some excitement to Tallahassee, as two local events highlight a strong spring schedule for the Seminoles.

FSU will host a 2021 NCAA Regional at the newly-renovated Seminole Legacy Golf Club on May 17-19. The big post-season event is an opportunity for Florida State to put its tremendous new course on display.

The Seminoles will also host the Seminole Intercollegiate on Feb. 20-21 at Golden Eagle Country Club, another local gem.

This weekend, FSU is considered the host of an ACC-only event with the Camp Creek Seminole Invitational teeing off on Jan. 17-19 at Camp Creek Golf Club in Watersound, Fla.

Overall, FSU will be playing seven regular-season tournaments prior to the ACC Championship, which will take place on April 23-26 at Capital City Country Club in Alpharetta, Ga.

Of the seven regular-season tournaments, six will be played in the state of Florida. The other in-state events include the Timuquana Collegiate (Ponte Vedra; Jan. 25-26), The Floridian Intercollegiate (Stuart; March 15-16), The Hayt (Ponte Vedra; March 31-April 1) and the Calusa Cup (Naples; April 4-6).

FSU will also play at the Cabo TPC San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas, from March 1-3.

The Seminoles return a loaded roster that includes seniors John Pak and Jamie Li, two of the top collegiate golfers in the nation. An influx of top-notch transfers that include Vincent Norrman and Connor Futrell add even more depth to FSU’s lineup, while newcomers like freshman Brett Roberts are ready to emerge this season.
