TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Men’s Golf sophomore Frederik Kjettrup has been selected to the 16-member Fred Haskins Award Spring Watch List, announced on Monday on Golf Channel and Golfweek.
The native of Aabybro, Denmark, is one of three ACC golfers on the prestigious list, joining Wake Forest’s Michael Brennan and Notre Dame’s Palmer Jackson. Kjettrup is ranked seventh nationally on Golfstat’s player rankings.

Celebrating its 52nd year, the Fred Haskins Award presented by Stifel has been given to players who have captured 32 major championships and more than 400 professional tournaments around the world. Past recipients include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ben Crenshaw, and Justin Thomas.
John Pak of Florida State won the 51st Haskins Award in 2021. The Fred Haskins Award is the oldest individual college golf award and the only award to be voted on by players, coaches, golf SID’s, and select golf media.
Kjettrup is 12-4 vs. Golfstat’s current Top 25 golfers in tournaments played this year. He is coming off consecutive Co-ACC Golfer of the Month honors, winning for his play in February and March.
FSU’s top golfer has finished in the Top 2 in each of his last two tournaments played, placing second at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational on March 29 and co-winning the All-American Intercollegiate on March 22. In the month of March, Kjettrup’s scoring average was 68.20.
Kjettrup has finish in the Top 5 in five of his last six tournaments played dating back to a tied-for-second finish at the Daniel Island Intercollegiate to finish the fall season on Nov. 1, 2021. He is shooting -1.17 vs. par this year and has nine of his 23 rounds played in the 60s.
