TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – For just the second time ever, the ACC Men’s Golf Championship is being held in the state of Florida as the sixth-seeded Florida State Men’s Golf team pursues its second title from April 22-25 at Shark’s Tooth Golf Course in Panama City Beach.
Located just two hours and one time zone away from Tallahassee, the ACC Men’s Golf Championship begins on Friday morning. The Seminoles tee off on hole one at 7:30 a.m. CT and play two rounds of stroke play that day.

The final round of stroke play will be held on Saturday at a time to be determined because all tee times are based off team standings through Friday.
Sunday will then pit the top four teams in stroke play in the match play semifinals. The top-seeded team based on stroke play will face the No. 4 seed at 9 a.m. CT, while the No. 2 and 3 seeds will also battle. Fans can watch the match-play portion of the event on ACC Network Extra through the ESPN App.
Monday concludes with the match play championship a 9 a.m. CT, also airing on ACCNX. Will Haskett (play-by-play) and Steve Scott (analyst) will provide the call in the match play semifinals and finals.
Spectators are allowed at the ACC Men’s Golf Championship and it is not a ticketed event. Shark’s Tooth Golf Course is located at the Watersound Club.
Six ACC teams are ranked in the Golfstat Top 25 rankings – No. 5 North Carolina, No. 11 Georgia Tech, No. 13 Notre Dame, No. 17 Wake Forest, No. 23 Clemson and No. 24 Florida State. NC State is just outside the top 25 at No. 26.
FSU is coming off as the runner-up in the ACC Championship last year and looks to win its second title in program history. The Seminoles won the tournament in 2008 behind the outstanding play of recent Seminole Athletics Hall of Famer Jonas Blixt.
Sophomore Frederik Kjettrup of FSU has won back-to-back ACC Co-Golfer of the Month honors for his strong play, and was named to the International Team in this summer’s Arnold Palmer Cup on Tuesday. He is one of five Haskins Award Watch List members from the ACC, joining North Carolina’s Ryan Gerard and Austin Greaser, Notre Dame’s Palmer Jackson and Wake Forest’s Michael Brennan.
In last year’s ACC Championship, Kjettrup and fellow sophomore Brett Roberts went 2-0 in match play against North Carolina and defending league champion Clemson.
