TALLAHASSEE -  Florida State men's golf junior Tyler Weaver was named the ACC Men's Co-Golfer of the Month on Friday.

Weaver shares the March award with William Love from Duke after leading the Seminoles in all three tournaments, starting with a top 15 finish at the Cabo Collegiate . He placed second at the Seminole Intercollegiate before winning the Valspar Collegiate the next week in a playoff.

Weaver finished 11th at the Cabo Collegiate, turning in two rounds of 69 and one of 72 to finish the tournament 3-under, 210.

The Seminoles returned home to win the Seminole Intercollegiate, where they were the only team under par, finishing at 8-under, 856. Weaver was the runner-up after rounds of 72, 68 and 70. Finishing the tournament at 6-under, 210.

In a field that contained more than 30 players ranked inside the top 100 of the World Golf Amateur Rankings, Weaver attacked the first 36 holes at the Valspar Collegiate, carding 13 birdies to only two bogeys, both on the 18th hole.  Weaver tied his career-low with a 65 in the first round and 66 in the second, finishing the first day as the leader in the clubhouse at 11-under, 131.

Weaver saw a slow start in the final round, but after three birdies, he was back in contention, just two strokes back off the lead with five holes to play. Weaver made his move with an eagle on the par five, 539-yard 15th, tying for the lead.  The Newmarket, England, native would win the tournament following a one-hole playoff, earning exemption into the 2027 Valspar Championship on the PGA Tour.

Weaver scored 15-under, 198, tying for the third-lowest score in program history and lowest by a Seminole at the tournament.  It was also the fourth-lowest total in Valspar Collegiate history. Weaver led the Noles to a fifth-place finish, placing higher than eight ranked teams at 30-under, 822.

Following the win, Weaver jumped to No. 6 in the WAGR, the highest ranking of his career. He is also listed at No. 14 in the Scoreboard rankings.

The Seminoles will compete at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial, which will be hosted by Virginia at Birdwood Golf at Boar's Head Resort in Charlottesville, Virginia, April 13-14.
