TALLAHASSEE, FL — The Florida State swimming and diving teams will host
the Louisiana State Tigers on Saturday, January 30 at 1pm at the Bobby E.
Leach Center. This meet will serve as the final meet for 13 Seminole
seniors: Brendon Dedekind, Kerwin Deese, James Henley, Matt McVittie, Chad
Onken, Stephen Parry, Julio Santos, Sherri Fowler, Kristie McRoberts,
Tenelle Ramer, Mara Toole, Samantha White and Katie Wright.




The Lady Seminoles took a break last weekend as nine members of the men’s
team took first place in the Dallas Monring News. FSU topped #2 Texas, #6
Tennessee, #9 Michigan, #11 Minnesota adn #18 Southern Methodist in the
competition. Stephen Parry led the way for the Seminoles, winning all four
of his events and setting a WAC, pool and meet record in the 200 Fly as
Brendon Dedekind won all three of his events. FSU also won the 200, 400 and
800 Free Relay events and finished 2nd in the 400 Medley Relay.




The Lady Seminoles (4-3) are 2-11 against the Lady Tigers and lost to LSU
97.5-141.5 last year. The Seminoles (5-1) are 8-7 against LSU and won the
meet last year 127-115.
