FSU Women’s Cross Country Ranked 31st Nationally In Latest Poll

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
The Florida State women’s cross country team is ranked 31st in the latest national poll released by FinishLynx. The ranking is the highest in head coach Bob Braman’s four years at the helm. The Lady Seminoles moved up four spots since the previous poll, which they were ranked No. 35. The women’s squad received 13 votes, only four behind No. 30 Yale.


The Lady Seminoles are also ranked No.1 in the NCAA South Region, while the FSU men are No. 3. The top two teams at the NCAA Regional Championships will move on to compete at the NCAA Championships.


The men’s and women’s teams will return to the trails on Oct. 25, when they travel to Terre Haute, Ind., to compete at the NCAA Pre-Nationals.
