Senior Caroline Larsson helped lead the Seminoles to the team championship at last week’s Ryder/Florida Championship and is currently preparing for the Atlantic Coast Conference championship April 14-16 on Pinehurst No. 8 in Pinehurst, N.C. In between rounds of preparation for the event, Larsson sat down with seminoles.com to reflect on her career as a student-athlete at Florida State.

How have you grown as a person since your freshman year to now?
When I came to Florida State four years ago I had lived in Sweden with my parents my entire life. During my four years here, I have grown both as a person and as a golfer. By living in another country and meeting people from different cultures, I have learned much about other people, myself and my values.

Do you have any pre-tournament rituals? Are you superstitious at all?
Before I go out and play a tournament, I start off by eating a big, healthy breakfast, usually including oatmeal, cereal, branflakes, and orange juice. On the golf course I
start off by putting and chipping, and then I hit balls. Right before I tee off I putt some more. An important thing to me is to have a bottle of water and a banana in my bag before I tee off.

What is one thing that most Florida State fans might not know about you?
I’m from Sweden and I can walk on my hands and juggle (not at the same time).

As a senior, what do you want to be remembered for when you career as a Seminole is finished/
I want to be remembered as a fun and positive person who worked hard in order to achieve the goals I had set for myself and my teammates.

Which course, from all over the world, is your favorite golf course to play?
I love the golf course I played in the Italian Championships one year. Then I also like my home golf course back home in Sweden – The Stockholm Golf Klubb. Also, next week we are going to play Pinehurst during the ACC Championships and I think that one might become one of my favorites as well.

What is one thing that you cannot live without?
The two things I can’t live without are my family and my friends because they mean everything to me.

What is in your CD player/on your iPod right now?
My Swedish teammate, Caroline, and I recently burned a CD with all kinds of songs on it, mainly Swedish ones. It’s a good CD!

Would you rather live in the city or in the country?
I am grown up in Stockholm, the capitol of Sweden, so I would definitely rather live in the city.

What is your favorite time of the year and why?
The spring and the summer are my favorite seasons. I enjoy that time of the year because it is getting warmer, everybody is happy, and the birds are singing.

If your life was made into a movie what would the title be?
“10 things I love about golf”

What is your dream vacation?
I would love to go to New Zealand to try new kinds of foods, go to the beach, try surfing, and of course play golf.
