CARLSBAD, Calif.  -  The Florida State women's golf team moved up three spots in the second round at the 2026 NCAA Women's Golf National Championship on Saturday, which is being held at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California.

The Seminoles started the day in 18th place after playing in the morning wave in round one on Friday. FSU started the second round in the afternoon from the first hole and is in a three-way tie for 15th place at 10-over, 586 along with No. 4 Texas A&M and No. 14 Tennessee and after turning in a round of 6-over, 294.

Alexandra Gazzoli led the Noles in round two, shooting 2-under, 70, climbing to tie for 12th place in the tournament. Gazzoli made birdies on three of the four par-threes. She was 3-under on the front nine but gave it back on holes 11 and 13 due to the afternoon conditions. Gazzoli battled back, carding back-to-back birdies on holes 16 and 17.
