When Paul Azinger completed his collegiate career at FSU in 1981, many predicted greatness for the native Floridian. After transferring from Brevard Community College, Azinger led the Seminole golf team to its highest ranking ever. He was the Metro Conference champion and was named the Most Valuable Player of the 1981 team. Following graduation, it took Azinger only a few years to make his presence felt on the PGA tour, where he has established himself as one of the true stars of the PGA.
