ACC Championship Third Round Canceled Due to Heavy Rain

ATLANTA, Ga. (Seminoles.com) – Inclement weather on the Capital City Club in Atlanta has forced the cancellation of the third and final round of stroke play on Saturday at the ACC Men’s Golf Championship.

Golfers teed off beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, and their scores for the beginning portion of the round will not count. A new third round will begin on Sunday at 7:30 a.m., followed by the match play semifinals in the afternoon.

The top four teams following the final round of stroke play on Sunday will advance to match play. Florida State is positioned in fourth at 3-under. North Carolina is first at 21-under, followed by NC State (-12) and Clemson (-9).

Senior John Pak is Florida State’s leader at 3-under (70-67) through two rounds, sitting in a tie for seventh. NC State’s Benjamin Shipp (-8) is the tournament leader.
