Schedule Set for Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State softball team now knows their four opponents for the 2024 Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational in Clearwater, Fla. on Feb. 15-18. The Seminoles will take on Stanford, UCLA, Georgia and Tennessee in the invitational. Stanford and Tennessee both made the 2023 WCWS Semifinals while Georgia faced the Seminoles in the last year's Tallahassee Super Regional. FSU also faced off with Tennessee in the WCWS Semifinals last year and defeated the Lady Vols 5-1 to advance to te WCWS Championship.Â
The Seminoles have had great success in recent years in Clearwater as they have gone 8-2 in the past two seasons in Clearwater and hold a 15-7 record in the invitational with 11 of those wins coming against ranked opponents. Last season, FSU picked up wins against Arizona, Arkansas and Louisiana.Â
Ticket information for the invitational will be announced in the coming days.Â
