Player Spotlight: Antoine Cornut-Chauvinc

TALLAHASSEE — Antoine Cornut-Chauvinc will be looking to replicate his historic 2023 season and help the Seminoles push for postseason glory this upcoming season.
In his most recent action this fall, Cornut-Chauvinc played in the Master'U BNP Paribas event and represented France, going undefeated against both Switzerland and the United States. Cornut-Chauvinc's victory over Eliot Spizzirri was his second career victory over a No.1-ranked collegiate player, following his defeat of Georgia's Ethan Quinn last season.
Cornut-Chauvinc earned the highest ranking of any FSU men's tennis player in school history last season after being ranked as the nation's No. 2 singles player.
After the conclusion of the 2023 men's tennis regular season, Cornut-Chauvinc was selected to participate in both the NCAA Singles Championship and the NCAA Doubles Championship. He earned a team-high 16 singles wins and paired with Joshua Dous-Karpenschif for 10 doubles wins.
During the 2023 season, Cornut-Chauvinc accumulated numerous accolades. Following a Florida State win over No.7 Georgia, Cornut-Chauvinc won both ACC Player of the Week and ACC Doubles of the Week. In addition to those honors, Antoine also earned ACC Co-Player of the Week on January 31st and was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll during the 2023 season.
Cornut-Chauvinc is majoring in business. When he signed with Florida State, he had the highest Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of any recruit who signed with a collegiate program in 2021.
