SPRING 2024
Singles: #4 Singles Player in the Nation, #1 Singles Player in Southeast Region
- Wrapped up his final campaign with 25 Court 1 wins and 17 ranked wins in the spring.
- Began the NCAA Singles Championship with a straight-set win over Mississippi State's Nemanja Malesevic 6-3, 6-2 in the Round of 64 (5/20).
- Defeated UCF's #121 Yassine Dlimi in the NCAA Tournament Second Round (5/4).
- Began the NCAA Tournament with a straight-set win over North Florida's #118 Jonas Hartenstein (5/3).
- Clinched the program's first ACC Championship victory following a three-set classic over Virginia's #4 Chris Rodesch (4/21).
- Battled to a straight-set win over Wake Forest's #31 Filippo Moroni in the ACC Semifinals (4/20).

- Earned 15 Court 1 wins this season with 19 total wins and the program's first-ever appearance in the national championship doubles match.
- Punched his ticket to the NCAA Doubles Championship match after a straight-set win over Texas with Joshua Dous-Karpenschif (5/24).
- Pulled through a three-set battle over Arizona State in the NCAA Doubles Quarterfinals with Joshua Dous-Karpenschif (5/23).
- Defeated UC Santa Barbara's top duo in the NCAA Doubles Round of 16 with Joshua Dous-Karpenschif (5/22).

- Named as the ACC Player of the Week and the ACC Doubles Team of the Week (with Barnaby Smith) by the ACC Office (Jan. 17)…named as the ACC Co-Player of the Week with Ryuhei Azuma of Clemson (Jan. 31)…defeated No. 41 Andre Liagan of Hawaii (3-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-6) in his first singles match of the spring in the No. 1 singles position in Florida State’s season-opening 7-0 win over Hawaii in Honolulu (Jan. 6)…a second straight win over a nationally ranked opponent on court No. 1 as he defeated No. 52 Ryder Jackson of Cal (3-6, 6-4, 6-4) as Florida State improved to 2-0 with a 5-2 win over Cal in a match played at the University of Hawaii (Jan 8)…a third consecutive win at the No. 1 singles position with a victory over No. 1 ranked Ethan Quinn of Georgia (6-1, 7-5)…teamed with Barnaby Smith for his first doubles victory of the season over Georgia’s Ethan Quinn and Trent Bryde (7-6 (7-3))…Quinn and Bryde played the match as the No. 19 ranked doubles tandem in the nation…the Seminoles defeated the No. 7 ranked Bulldogs with by a 5-2 match score (Jan. 15)…a third win over a top-125 ranked payer as he defeated No. 112 Kevin Huempfner of Florida Atlantic (6-2, 6-4) on court No. 1 in the Seminoles’ 6-1 victory over the Owls at the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Center (Jan. 21)…defeated No. 23 Finn Bass of Baylor (6-4, 6-2) on court No. 1 as Florida State traveled to play at Baylor in the ITA Kickoff Weekend…the Bears defeated the Seminoles, 4-2 (Jan. 28)…defeated Alex Nefve of Florida (6-1, 6-4) on court No. 1 in the College Match Day special event at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, Fla…the No. 15 ranked Gators defeated the No. 12 Seminoles by a 4-2 score (Feb. 2)…defeated Sebastien Collard of South Alabama (6-3, 6-4) on the No. 1 singles court in Florida State’s 5-2 victory over the Jaguars at the FSU Indoor Tennis Facility (Feb. 10)…remained undefeated with a victory on court No. 1 over Nemanja Makesevic of Mississippi State (6-2, 6-1)…the No 24 ranked Bulldogs defeated the No. 15 ranked Seminoles by a 4-3 margin at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center (Feb. 12)…continued his unbeaten streak with a victory over UCF’s Bogdan Pavel (4-6, 6-3, 6-3) as the Seminoles traveled to play at the Knights at the USTA National Campus…a double winner against UCF with a doubles victory while teamed with Barnaby Smith to defeat the Knight’s Liam Branger and Yassine Dmimi (6-0) (Feb. 25)…earned his sixth victory over a ranked opponent as he defeated No 86 Ryan Fishback of Virginia Tech (6-2, 6-2) as he continued his undefeated start to the spring 2023 season…his victory on court No. 1 helped he Seminoles defeat the Hokies by a 5-2 margin at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center in Blacksburg, Va. (March 3)…earned a conference victory on court No. 1 with a win over No. 36 Etienne Donnet of Louisville (5-7, 6-4, 6-4)…also earned a doubles victory over Louisville with teammate Joshua Dous-Karpenschif as the Seminole pair defeated No. 68 ranked Natan Rodrigues and Donnet (7-5)…his two wins against the Cardinals allowed the Seminoles to win the doubles point and the match over the Cardinals by a 4-0 margin at the Scott Speicher Tennis Complex at Florida State (March 17)…defeated Noah Becker and Sebastian Dominko 6-1 to help Florida State clinch the doubles point against Notre Dame (March 19)...defeated No. 43 Sebastian Dominko 7-6 (3), 6-7 (7), 6-4 in a sweep over No. 43 Notre Dame (March 19) ...partnered with Joshua Dous-Karpenschif to earn a 6-2 win against Mat Pitts and Jorge Plans Gonzalez (April 2)...in a 4-0 win over Clemson defeated Ryuhei Azuma in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 (April 2)...clinched the come-from-behind win over No. 44 Miami after defeating No. 51 Dan Martin in three sets 7-6 (3), 6-7 (7), 6-4 (April 5)...defeated Will Kasten and Max Motlagh 6-1 in a sweep of Boston College (April 7)...defeated Reece Falck and Alex de Gabriele of UNCW in a 4-0 victory over the Hawks...in a 4-0 win over UNCW defeated Reece Falck 6-0, 6-3 (April 7)......earned a 6-3 win over No. 36 Brian Cernoch and Benjamin Kittay (April 14)... defeated No. 45 Brian Cernoch of North Carolina 6-3, 6-4 (April 14) beat the No. 44-nationally ranked doubles pair of Michael Heller and Andrew Zhang from Duke (April 16)......in the ACC Championships defeated No. 93 Ryuhei Azuma 6-4, 6-2 to help the Seminoles advance to the ACC Quarterfinals... helped earn the doubles point against Clemson with a 6-3 win over Ryuhei Azuma and Jorge Plans Gonzalez... upset No. 13 Ryan Seggerman and Casey Kania of North Carolina 6-1 helping Florida State clinch the doubles point and a 4-2 win over UNC.

BEFORE FLORIDA STATE
- Ranked #56 in France and has the highest Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of any recruit signing with a collegiate program in 2021. Cornut-Chauvinc has come through the French Federation like FSU’s current No. 1 singles player Loris Pourroy and entered college with a similar ranking to another all-time Seminole great Lucas Poullain.
- Cornut-Chauvinc is ranked 403 by the ATP. He has participated in French open qualifiers and also advanced in one of those tournaments in addition to earning wild card spots in numerous ATP Masters 1000 events. Last year, he won two ITF 15k titles (one on clay and one indoor on hard courts) and reached an ITF ranking high of 137. In his junior career, Cornut-Chauvinc made the 3rd round of Junior US Open and the French Open and he holds a UTR of 14.1.
