PATRICK DONNELLY NAMED ACC MEN’S TRACK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK

GREENSBORO, N.C.  –  Florida State distance runner Patrick Donnelly was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Track Performer of the Week the ACC announced Monday.

Donnelly, a redshirt freshman from Alexandria, Va., led a 53-man field in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:15.81 at the River City Spring Break Classic hosted by North Florida.

FSU’s Coleman Cronk finished second in the same race with a time of 14:18.87 and Paul Stafford was fourth at 14:24.00.

The Seminoles host the FSU Relays this Thursday and Friday at Mike Long Track in Tallahassee, Fla. and several of the Nole distance group will compete in the Raleigh (N.C.) Relays on the same days.
